We are one step and most likely just a few weeks away from having the second edition of the Monday Night Wars.
TNA looks as if they are going for WGN and an offical deal could be made this week. The contract with FSN expires on May 29. If or when they get on WGN, it will be on Monday from 8-10pm and live every other week!!
There seems to be infighting between Panda Energy and The Jarrett Family. Meltzer says he doesn't know how it will all pan out but it could lead to either the Jarrett's being let go or walking away to try and start something on their own. All of the wrestlers are under contract with Panda.
With the new booking team, expect to see some wrestling coming and going. They want to bring in Samoa Joe, CM Punk, and American Dragon.
For the June Third Year Anniversary show they want to have Ultimo Dragon vs. Chris Daniels for the X-Title. They talked with Jushin Liger but those plans fell apart so UD is second choice and he's not a lock yet.
AmDragon is legit depressed over his situation because WWE showed no intrest in him and he's not doing much in Japan. He says he will spend the summer "working in Europe" and make a decision from there.

I'm glad I get WGN, but why must they put them on against RAW? I hated having to switch between Raw and Nitro in case I missed something good, and now I'll have to do the same every other week.
Still, good for TNA for getting more time for Impact, and being on a national syndication station... unless you live in New York, or other states up north, where WGN isn't too popular. Same thing can be said for some markets with FSN.

Monday night has been wrestling night for the last ten years. It makes sense to put it on then, and you can always tape one of the two. TNA will get more veiwers during RAW commercials than they ever did on FSN.

I tape Raw every week, and have been taping Xplosion (Impact Lite) for the past few weeks on fridays. Unless I want to take over every VCR in the house, which is impossible thanks to stupid Monday night shows on CBS or NBC, plus baseball season, it's kinda hard.
