In regard to the TV situation, I am told that both WGN and Spike TV are still possibilities, but nothing is a lock. If I was TNA, I would hope for Spike TV to come through for the prestige of being the company that followed WWE after Spike "dropped them" and also the larger viewership. WGN is hardly seen, if at all, in the major markets of the Northeast, especially New York City.

I continue to get a lot of emails about CM Punk's status. I know that TNA would love to have him and have a storyline ready for him if he comes in, but there's appears to be WWE interest as well so Punk is wisely waiting to see where the day takes him, so to speak. Punk declined to comment when contacted.

Names that have been discussed as of late to bring in are Jushin Liger, Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe. TNA had wanted to bring in Liger to face Christopher Daniels at the Slammiversary PPV but he has a conflict with a New Japan date that day so that idea is out for now. Daniels has been calling himself the "Best X-Division Wrestler in the World" to build up International challengers. If they are looking to Mexico as well as Japan, I'd love to see TNA try to get Mistico in as a challenger. Bryan Danielson is an interesting name as he's been very down on the business as of late and this could be exactly what he needs if he's going to stay around. He's currently in Great Britain for the summer. Samoa Joe would be a tremendous asset as well and is another really good performer who's faith in the business has been shaken due to New Japan reneging on offers. There's some irony here considering the problems TNA and ROH had last year, but we may very well be seeing a situation where TNA becomes a major help to some of the top indy names if they end up coming in.

I wouldn't expect to see Jeff Hardy back before Matt Hardy's WWE no compete expires on 7/11.

There are absolutely plans to bring Tito Ortiz back down the line, possibly to wrestle if they can work out a good angle.

There's talk of giving Trytan a mouthpiece. I would suggest they make use of Jim Mitchell or Simon Diamond for the role since they are both really good talkers and neither are being used by the company. In fact, Diamond is under a deal still.

Abyss, James Storm, and Chris Sabin worked last night for 3PW in Philadelphia. Abyss pinned The Messiah in a Fans Bring the Weapons match while Sabin pinned Storm. There's talk of 3PW bringing in America's Most Wanted this July.

Nice to see they're discussing bringing in some actual talent, instead of washed up old has-beens. Danielson in TNA would just seem weird to me, but I'd love to see Liger vs. Daniels.

Danielson would get over in a second if they put him in there with guys that can go with him. Samoa Joe would be a great addition too, and who really wouldn't wanna see Liger/Daniels. Although they wanted Liger to come in at some point before when he was in the country working for ROH, but they didn't wanna pay his airfare...........

If this is true, I'm about to flip. I would love to see these guys get a shot at proving themselves nationally.
