Title: Fave shows that died too early...

The Last Free Voice - December 15, 2004 09:05 PM (GMT)
Mine have to be John Doe, Dark Angel, and The Greenscreen show...

Scrooge McSuck - December 15, 2004 09:12 PM (GMT)
Dark Angel RULED... for me to poop on!

I kinda liked that Fun House show or whatever that was on late-night Comedy Central. They still air the same episodes from back in the day.

THE CRITIC! THE CRITIC! THE CRITIIIIIIIC! Only 23 episodes!

Big F'N Swigg - December 15, 2004 11:34 PM (GMT)
Invader Zim, and Beast Wars/Beast Machines seemed to end a bit quickly.

Real F'n Show - December 16, 2004 12:07 AM (GMT)
Greg the Bunny
Family Guy
Invader Zim

That's all I can think of right now.

dynamite kido - December 16, 2004 02:12 AM (GMT)
Herman's Head.....

Mad Dog - December 16, 2004 03:15 AM (GMT)
Firefly
Gary the Rat

Salute Your Shorts...(ducks thrown boot)

The Last Free Voice - December 16, 2004 11:41 PM (GMT)
OMG! Salute your Shorts was my SHOW! I was like Six, and taht was all I'd watch. Well, Legends of the Hidden Temple. And WMAC masters. Those three shows I miss greatly. ::sniffle:: I'm so old...

Real F'n Show - December 16, 2004 11:49 PM (GMT)
Since I grew up around the same time as you LFV, wasn't there also a show on Nick called "Hey Dude" or something like that? I always get that confused with Salute Your Shorts, but SYS was WAY better.

I used to watch Hey Dude at my grandparents house. There was a hot chick that always kept my attention.

I don't know, I'd have to see the show again.

The Last Free Voice - December 17, 2004 12:52 AM (GMT)
Hey dude was decent. I didn't dig the whole cowboy thing, really.

Mad Dog - December 17, 2004 02:09 AM (GMT)
Danger Mouse and Count Duckula were the best shows on early Nick.

WOW......Danger Mouse was my shit.

Scrooge McSuck - December 17, 2004 06:24 AM (GMT)
Anyone remember Weinerville? (gets slapped by everyone and their mothers) That show was kinda fun, although the whoever came up with it (probably Weiner man) must have a previous mental health problem. I loved the Mr. Magoo cartoons.

Mad Dog - December 17, 2004 06:25 AM (GMT)
I remember maybe two years ago I freaked out when I was at Media Play because they had a Danger Mouse tape. I was so excited to actually get some episodes on tape.

Mad Dog - December 17, 2004 06:26 AM (GMT)
Weinerville was a little after my time. I was a little too mature for it by the time it hit the airwaves.

Scrooge McSuck - December 17, 2004 06:26 AM (GMT)
Also I loved the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. I squealed for joy when they put out a DVD with a few episodes from the series. Lou Albano as crazy Mario and... that other guy doing Live Action scenes were cool, and the cartoons weren't bad either.

Mad Dog - December 17, 2004 06:27 AM (GMT)
I liked the later Mario cartoons more. I really only watched the Albano show for the Zelda cartoons on Friday.

Captain N was a favorite as well.

Scrooge McSuck - December 17, 2004 06:28 AM (GMT)
I didn't like the Mario Bros. 3 Show too much, since they screwed the characters over with different names and some horrible lazy animation. I loved the Mario World series. I think that was the last of the Mario Shows. (cries)

Real F'n Show - December 17, 2004 11:33 PM (GMT)
Biker Mice from Mars and that one cartoon with the walking sharks were good too.

Also that Land of the Lost show with the dinosaurs and that family that lived in the treehouse.

Mad Dog - December 18, 2004 08:13 AM (GMT)
Didn't like either of those shows as they seemed to be rip offs of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

S.T. Strickler - December 18, 2004 08:53 PM (GMT)
I used to watch parts of Weinerville. Good show. Anybody remember Roundhouse? It was a skit show similar to SNL.

Scrooge McSuck - December 18, 2004 08:54 PM (GMT)
I think I remember seeing it air on Snick along with Clarissa Explains It All, Pete & Pete, and Are You Afraid Of The Dark?, but don't recall anything about it. Shitty memory I have.

I remember these too, that and they used to have some weird ass show on there too with dance numbers.........but the name of it escapes me.

Biker Mice From Mars was good, but the Shark one.... UGH!

If it doesn't make more episodes, ALF's Hit Talk Show was awesome. (hopes for more episodes)

Big F'N Swigg - December 19, 2004 07:52 PM (GMT)
ALF=ratings

Cocksuckers from Dimension XXX

could you explain that?

Scrooge McSuck - December 22, 2004 11:57 AM (GMT)
It was about this family who got rich by shooting at a rabbit and striking oil. They moved from a shitty shack to a mansion in Beverly Hills.
