So far here is the Slammiversary card....
AJ Styles defending the NWA championship in a King of the Mountain match against Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, and a Wild Card competitor. By the way, my choice for the wild card is obviously Matt Hardy.
Michael Shane vs. Chris Sabin vs. Christopher Daniels - X Division Title match
Team Canada vs. The Naturals - NWA Tag Team Title match |

When is Slama...whatever the hell it's called? I for the life of me can't remember if Matt's no compete clause ends in the 2nd week of June or 2nd week of July.
Neither show looks too good, but hey, watching Raven beat up on Zybysko is always fun.

Is "Romeo" the former "Kid Romeo"? I guess "MAN Romeo" doesn't have a nice ring to it.
Mad Dog - May 18, 2005 04:39 AM (GMT)
Yeah it's probably Kid Romeo, he usually has an annual appearance for TNA before they remember why they never use the guy.
I don't like the King of the Mountain idea. It worked out last time but that was only because of the superhuman efforts from Styles. I also think Styles vs. Abyss would be a better match in the end and draw buys because people know those two always deliver against each other.
Scrooge McSuck - May 18, 2005 04:44 AM (GMT)
I have $50 on Jarrett winning the title back in the match wher eI have no idea what the rules.
Mad Dog - May 18, 2005 05:06 AM (GMT)
I would doubt it. It's a month away and he's in a losing battle with the Carter's over the fact that he's been champion too much.
dynamite kido - May 18, 2005 12:43 PM (GMT)
I just like for the second time Abyss gets screwed out of a title shot.
Mad Dog - May 18, 2005 12:46 PM (GMT)
That could make for an interesting story if someone manages to realize that.
whitemilesdavis - May 18, 2005 12:59 PM (GMT)
I like that they are giving lots of people stories now. They aren't really developed enough to be interesting yet, but it's a start. Just in these spoilers you have:
3LK problems
AMW problems
Shane and Sabin feuding
Raven quitting
Jarrett vs. Brown tease
Team Canada going after Lance Hoyt
That's a pretty good start. Hopefully they can avoid past problems, and really deliver on these angles.
Scrooge McSuck - May 18, 2005 04:54 PM (GMT)
The only thing I would be against in what's listed is teasing a split between the only babyface tag teams people care about, especially at the same time.
How many times is it now that AMW have teased splitting up, and not actually doing it? 6?

Actually, they did split up. They both won tag titles with OTHER partner's too. They just eventually just get back together though. They should just continue to build up the tag division and have more than one tag match on a PPV.

They've actually never teased them turning on each other before this. Usually they just started wrestling in singles matches and would get back together.

Why is it Hoyt vs Roode at Slammiversary?
