*Backstage, MNM and Chavo Guerrero are discussing a six man tag match they have against Paul London & Charlie Haas & Hardcore Holly.

*Josh Matthews interviewed Kurt Angle, who said that Booker's wife is a "guttersl*t" and that Angle wants to have "dirty, perverted sex with her."

*Chavo Guerrero & WWE Tag Team champions MNM defeated WWE Cruiserweight champion Paul London & Charlie Haas & Hardcore Holly when Chavo pinned London with his feet on the ropes.

*John Bradshaw Layfield comes out to promote a book (not sure if it's new or a new edition of his old one). John Cena comes out and they brawl, with a good part of the roster coming out for a pull apart.

*Jimmy Jacobs defeated defeated Eddie Guerrero via disqualification. Guerrero put Rey's mask on Jacobs and beat him while he was wearing it. Guerrero was disqualified for suplexing Jacobs across a chair.

*They played John Cena's music video.

*Matt Morgan pinned Funaki.

*Backstage, Booker T was angry about what Kurt Angle said and told Sharmell to stay in the back.

*Carlito's Cabana with The Big Show. Carlito offers Show an offer he can't refuse - a chance for them to be partners. He shows footage from Wrestlemania and mocks Show, saying that they can be great together. Show turns him down. Carlito grabs an apple but before he can bite it, Show bites it...and faints, with the idea being it was poisoned. Carlito takes another apple and spits it in the face of the unconscious Big Show saying, "One bad apple can ruin a bunch."

*Booker vs. Kurt Angle went to a no contest - After five minutes, Angle runs to the back to find Sharmell. Booker follows and hears her screaming in the locker room. He bursts in and she's terrified on the floor. Angle blindsides him and attacks him, throwing him into the lockers as Sharmell screams "Why?"

Dark Match:

*WWE champion John Cena defeated John Bradshaw Layfield and WWE United States champion Orlando Jordan in a handicap match.

Outside of the Eddie Guerrero stuff... Smackdown looks like pure shit this week.

Please God, don't have Angle raping Sharmell.

I LOVE the Eddie stuff, and the fact that Kurt and Booker T are feuding. But if they turn that into another Katie Vick angle, I'll be more than pissed.

The Maximos are only jobbing to the Bashams. Speaking of the Bashams, am I the only one who's starting to enjoy them? When they first came up with that horrible S&M fetish gimmick with whatshername, I couldn't stand them, but now I actually enjoy seeing their matches. Talk about a 180...

I could really dig the Bashams if given a chance. The Maximos have a decent look for jobbers, and won't be given a chance to blow big spots.

...What? Don't get me wrong, it sounds good and all, but surprising. RoH invasion! This makes what, the third WWE appearance by Punk? And second appearance by SATs.

How long has Jacobs been wrestling for the WWE and he's on TV? I didn't think he was signed.

Um... maybe this is like the Gene Snitsky/Kane scenario when Snitsky was just "some guy", except Jacobs is just a scrub to take a shit kicking.

Apparently they have been interested in Punk for awhile and he's been working dark matches for the last three weeks or so. He's wrestling Val Venis on Heat this Sunday.

I'm surprised they'd want Punk. I figured his skinny build would've hurt him.

They need someone to feed to John Heidenreich.

Do you think Punk would be Raw or SmackDown? He's done a couple of Heat shows and now a Velocity.

I take it you haven't seen Punk in a while. I saw him recently at IWC's Super Indy IV......he's put on considerable amount of muscle.

He's also ditched the shorts and gone to black trunks with yellow on the sides.

I'm more surprised that their interested in him with all his tattoos. I remember reading once that they didn't want anymore guys with tattoos. The WWE sure has some stupid ways of hiring people.

I have to say, I like his a look. It adds a lot to his character. (And I don't mean the gimmick, I mean the actually character.)

What do you mean by that? Because without the shorts, he doesn't look like cheap, 2nd-rate Indy talent anymore?

While I think Punk's look is world's better with trunks than shorts, he still is quite thin by WWE standards.

Since I mentioned the tattoo... is there any special reason why he got that, or was it one of those "I was drunk and didn't notice" things? I've only seen a handful of CM Punk matches (from MLW and TNA mainly), so I haven't really followed his career much.

Yeah like WMD said, he's straight edge (no drugs or alcohol) so the Pepsi tat symbolizes soda over alcohol or something. He's also got a fucking awesome Cobra Commander tattoo from GI Joe on his other arm.

By the way, the Cobra tat he has IS pretty fucking boss......
