Well, I can't say that too many of the matches look that great but I wouldn't mind checking it out to see what it's like after the fact though. Plus, I wonder what that surprise is that they are talking about........

I know the matches will suck, but damn, the mark in me is foaming at the mouth.
dynamite kido - May 10, 2005 01:54 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I used to LOVE me some ECW back in the day. This should be a nice little nostalgic trip...........but yeah, the matches will be awful.
whitemilesdavis - May 10, 2005 07:38 PM (GMT)
It really doesn't appeal to me at all, but I've heard they've already turned a profit with pre-sell tickets.
Mad Dog - May 10, 2005 07:51 PM (GMT)
They'll be lucky to get *1/2 out of any of those matchups.

| The high point is Raven. |
Raven is the high point of everything he's involved in.
Geez.... Scrooge is rubbing off on me.
Scrooge McSuck - May 11, 2005 05:48 PM (GMT)
....I don't get the joke.

The gay meter just went through the roof with that comment.

It's too bad we saw Sandman vs. Raven and Jerry Lynn vs. Justin Credible in TNA in 2003 and that they sucked horribly then and they'll be even worse now.

May be I haven't seen enough of Sandman, but I never particularly enjoyed him.
Scrooge McSuck - May 11, 2005 06:46 PM (GMT)
Welcome to the club, because the Sandman has had maybe 3 good "matches" in his career.
dynamite kido - May 11, 2005 06:48 PM (GMT)
Sandman wasn't suppost be be the god of wrestling anyway. His claim to fame was smoking, drinking, and hitting people with kendo sticks.

You're being generous by saying he was ever in a good match.
Scrooge McSuck - May 11, 2005 07:10 PM (GMT)
I say that because I've only seen about 20 Sandman matches ever.

He had maybe one *** match his entire career. And that was because of Raven and Bam Bam Bigelow in WCW.
whitemilesdavis - May 12, 2005 06:53 PM (GMT)
I wouldn't consider any Sandman match in the *** range. I honestly have no clue how he got so over. The character didn't even appeal to me.

Well apparently your not gutter trash from Philadelphia either......
whitemilesdavis - May 12, 2005 07:25 PM (GMT)
True, but I am from NC wher Rufus R. Freighttrain Jones was insanely over.
Mad Dog - May 13, 2005 08:49 PM (GMT)
Fun fact: the combined age of the wrestlers in the main event is 140.
Scrooge McSuck - May 13, 2005 08:51 PM (GMT)
 That makes the Hogan/Flair match on Raw three years ago look good (when Hogan was 50 and Flair was 53) in comparison... almost. Throw in someone like the Undertaker, and that shatters the 140.
