They just had Barry Sander's last college game on ESPN Classics. It was the 88 Holiday Bowl against Wyoming.
The guy scored 5 TDs and ran for something like 250 yards and added a bunch receiving too. Most plays if he touched the ball he was gone. It was quite a sight to behold. His work in the NFL doesn't begin to even touch what he was doing in college. I think that game gave him something like 42 TDs on that season and close to 3000 yards rushing.
I miss Barry Sanders. He made Thanksgiving games watchable.
I agree. I really wish they'd just put random teams on instead of the Lions and Cowboys. There hasn't been a watchable Thanksgiving game in years.
