A few sources have told us that Brian Gewirtz will be taking a leave of absence from his duties on the WWE creative team within the next month. I believe that he will be gone for three months. I have been told, but have not 100% confirmed, that he will be spending the time away from wrestling working with the Films division of WWE. Gewirtz is the lead writer for Raw, and helps out with a lot of vignettes, among other things, on Smackdown as well. He's the senior member of the creative team. I am under the impression that this being done to give him a break from the wrestling business, but I have not confirmed that yet.

Speaking of creative, WWE recently hired a new writer, a man who has background working for the old Fox series Beverly Hills 90210. His name, I believe, is Larry Mollin. He is yet another "Hollywood guy" with no wrestling knowledge or experience.

Earlier today we talked about how morale has been up recently in WWE. There have been complaints, however, about the charter flights, and some of the other transportation, on the UK tour that just ended, from some of the wrestlers. From what I was told, they weren't exactly the best accommodations.

So HHH gets even more power over the show. :lol:

And thank God for it too. I was so worried last week that Triple H was going to be ruined because Batista looked at him like he wanted to beat him up. Luckily they allowed Triple H to come down and Pedigree him though.....so they totally saved Trips character.

Yeah, that totally made up for the lack of a Triple H match on the show. Triple H should have an Iron Man match every week for Raw to keep my interest.

Hell yeah, a two hour ironman. Because we all know that he's teh game and hetotally rulz and can golike forevr ion there....

In all seriosness to Gewirtz leaving for a bit... I'm torn. I don't know if I should throw a party or just celebrate privately.

It'll be celebration here on DWB! ...Although, it is a solemn day, as he's going to be replaced by Larry Mollin...and then hired full time. :(

I think we should started writing for them.

I know how to fix Raw and turn it into a ratings monster:

1. HHH should be angrier and have access to a time machine.

2. When HHH isn't on screen the other characters should be asking "where's HHH?"

For #2, remember the night after Survivor Series 2002? He didn't appear on RAW, but every 5 seconds, J.R. kept saying he would be, even during matches that had nothing to do with him.

Wait, Mollins wrote Knight Rider? That's a plus.

Of course, it's outweighed by his writing of ChiPs, Renegade, The New Gidget, 90210, and Leap Years.

How old is this guy?

Probably either pushing 40 or looking back at it in his rear view mirror.
