Title: Looks like Jesus is injured
Description: pretty badly too

theintensifier - December 14, 2004 09:53 AM (GMT)
-One of the reasons last night's John Cena vs. Jesus match was such a blow-out is because the injuries to Jesus were worse then originally thought. AaronAguilera.com reported he has a herniated disc in his neck and the first doctor who saw him recommened surgery. He's waiting for a second opinion before making the decision.-

Wow, that sucks, he was starting to grow on me too.

It shows how little I pay attention to Smackdown when I don't even know who this guy is or when he debuted.

He never really debuted....that's probably another reason. Also, he got injured at a house show......

Mad Dog - December 14, 2004 04:58 PM (GMT)
Ah, so he kind of just showed up. I hate when they do that.

dynamite kido - December 14, 2004 04:59 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it seems to happen more and more these days. Especially with all the craptastic stuff in OVW.

Mad Dog - December 14, 2004 05:00 PM (GMT)
At least they stopped with the vanilla young guy looking for his shot in the big leagues.

Well, it's just as bad with the supergreen monster wrestler with no mic skills club.

theintensifier - December 14, 2004 07:55 PM (GMT)
He wasn't all that bad guys, sure, he's no Benoit, but he's not as bad as Holly IMO.

Maybe all these OVW guys getting injured is a sign... STOP PUSHING HOSSES!

Nathan Jones - fell over doing KICKS
Matt Morgan - Way too fucking green even if he's that over in OVW.
Heidenreich - Couldn't perform simple moves without killing Stevie Richards.
Tomko - Been injured 2 or 3 times lately and sucks.
Seven/Mordecai - Didn't get much of a chance, but I bet he sucks.
Jesus - Jesus, where'd they dig this schmuck from?

Actually I think the lesson to learn would be to stop hiring guys based soley on their look.

None of them stood out other than either being really tall or wrestling like they are really tall. I actually liked Mordecai though, although I probably would have hated his matches if he wrestled more than three of them.

Finally, I've some good news to report. Aaron's neck surgery was a complete success, although he did require a metal plate in his neck. Aaron can't do much for the next two weeks except rest, but he will be catching up on replying to email and comment board posts. Aaron will be going to see his doctor in two weeks who will be taking x-rays and seeing how he is doing. Once this is done and he has been given the all clear and he will begin light rehab. We will keep you posted on his progress on AaronAguilera.com."

I can hardly wait, I might seriously just quit my job and check his site on the minute for updates.

Mad Dog - January 21, 2005 02:16 PM (GMT)
Still don't know who this guy is.

SamoaRowe - January 21, 2005 04:45 PM (GMT)
Jesus could have been a cool bad-ass character (his beat-down on John Cena was actually unexpected) but now he's probably eventually be back as if they whole thing never happened.

That and the Armageddon match sucked. I know his wasn't really his fault now.

prof_plague - January 26, 2005 09:13 PM (GMT)
Just curious, what do some many people have against Jesus? I know they are some opinions surrounding the larger wrestlers and all, but not all of them are bad. But even then, what they can do outside of the ring, and even the way it looks in the ring, and still make a match good. Not everyone is a Benoit, Benjamin, or Danielson.

Scrooge McSuck - January 26, 2005 09:59 PM (GMT)
The guy wrestled once. I have no real opinion formulated, but from what I've heard from people who've seen him, he's not anything to look forward to seeing.

SamoaRowe - January 27, 2005 02:25 PM (GMT)
Yeah, we never really got a chance to see what Jesus could do. His only televised matches that I'm aware of was him quickley beating an injured Charlie Haas and then he got squashed by Cena on Armageddon while being injured himself.

The Armageddon match was complete shit, but I give him credit for trying.
