Title: Foley vs. Flair
Description: for real

-Ric Flair offered Mick Foley a handshake backstage before Raw tonight in Huntsville, wanting to make peace after many words have been exchanged between the two of them since they last crossed paths. Foley turned down the handshake offer, but said it would be nice if Flair would sign a copy of his book which he planned to auction for charity. Flair got upset with Foley's proposal and threw a punch at him that connected, but no damage was done. "Both came across as childish, but it wasn't that big of a deal," says one backstage source.

Ric Flair threw a punch at Mick Foley earlier tonight before the Raw tapings in Huntsville, AL. Foley refused to shake Flair's hand, and then made a remark Flair didn't like about asking for an autographed book. Flair connected with a punch before it was broken up but Foley wasn't injured and went on with the show.

The general backstage feeling was it was a work and an angle to set up Wrestlemania. Time will tell.

If thats a work, they need to stop pulling that shit, as its just not cool to work the locker room and everything just to slow build a match, plus I dont think it gets the IWC more or less interested in a potential match either. I'd be inclined to think that if it was a work, we would have seen this on RAW last night, but thats just me.

So I dont get this - has Flair just been trying to turn all of his comments into a worked feud or what then? Would be do the same thing and offer his handshake if he ran into Bret Hart? Its just weird, as if someone was talking mad shit about me too, I sure as shit wouldnt shake his hand either.

I never understood working the lockerroom as it just tends to piss off the wrestlers. And what's the point of even doing this as maybe 5% of the fanbase would ever hear about it online.

Basing this off of a shoot only matter, I wonder if Flair thinks he could take Foley?
