Title: I've got writer's block...
Description: ... so give me advice.

For the past month I keep going to book my next Raw after the Royal Rumble and I get half-way through the show before I back out of it because I don't like how it is going together. Am I just taking it too seriously or what?

And please no suggestions involving Kane.

Give Kane the ti-... DAMMIT!

Uh... don't take it too seriously. Just ramble about stuff. Or hell, maybe even steal from previous shows and pretend it's brand new. Lord knows, the real WWE redoes the same matches over and over with the exact same commentary and no one notices.

Happens to me a lot. Hell, it's happening to me right now.

I recommend plowing through. Book it in a way you can deal with it, and then see if you do better afterwards.

Surely you've being doing the game long enough to buy out your own fed. Do that, and promote it completely differently than what you're doing.

That just might happen, actually...

Well, I ran a new Raw and a new Smackdown through EWR last night. I may or may have them posted in the near future.

Writer's block is usually the signal for me to take a break. A few days not thinking about it and I'm ready to go again.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I started writing Raw at school today and it felt good since it's been a month or so since my last show.

Hey Ernie, out of curiousity, if you've read my Diary (which I recommend everyone does, and add feedback...please?), how did you find writing the Royal Rumble. I had such plans for mine, and became so frustrated with keeping track of things, I ended up scaling the whole thing back

Do what I do... write out all the major stuff ahead of time with who you want, then fill in the gaps by putting little notes in between on who's left in to write about.

For example...

Say the match still has Hulk Hogan, The Rock, CM Punk, Chad Collyer, Jeff Jarrett, AMW, Chris Jericho, and the Ghost of Andre The Giant. You list the people like this for whenever some nothing happens to keep track, but still writing out your major details first.

I did mine on EWR, and I basically just copied and pasted what EWR had for the Rumble and then I spaced it out every time someone entered the Rumble and when someone was eliminated. Then I basically just tried to keep track of who was fighting who. It was really difficult, I actually spent a little while writing my Rumble over several nights (though I didn't get any feedback on it, so maybe i shouldn't taken more short cuts..).
