Chris Candido will be having (or already has had) a steel plate inserted in his ankle along with screws and pins. He had a complete dislocation of the ankle along with the breaks to his fibula and tibia. One doctor told Candido he could be back in the ring in six weeks, which means he could make it to the Hardcore Homecoming show in Philadelphia, PA but that sounds a little too good to be true. Hopefully he can make a full recovery as he's really dedicated himself to his comeback in recent months.
More on Dixie Carter's Lockdown pre-show speech to the wrestlers last night: Carter specifically shot down negative reports on the Internet about the company's health and well being, telling the wrestlers that Panda remained 100% loyal to the company and to not believe "doom and gloom" reports that stated otherwise. Frank Dickerson has taken over the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer. Carter also noted that the TNA PPVs could be seen in over 50 countries as a sign of company growth.

There's no way he could be back in 6 weeks. That sounds impossible for a broken leg.

Six weeks is kind of standard heeling time for a broken bone, but this sounds like a really bad break, which would also damage muscles and tendons..etc. I would say more like 6 months. I hope the best for him though.

Maybe if he shot himself up with a shitload of pain killers, taped the ankle up to the point it cuts the circulation off in his brain, and wrestles a garbage brawl match... he MIGHT have a shot at coming bsck in 6 weeks.

Hardcore Homecoming would get my money if Candido didn't even bother wrestling and instead came out on crutches and cut the exact same promo verbatum that he did at Barely Legal.

TNA is also covering his medical bills for him.
