TheGreatWhiteChoate - April 26, 2005 06:10 AM (GMT)

SamoaRowe - April 27, 2005 03:30 PM (GMT)
I already warned my girlfriend that if Triple H wins his 11th World title at Backlash, I am going to vomit. She responded by saying she'd make sure she had an empty seat next to her so she could make a quick escape.
Needless to say, I love her :)
whitemilesdavis - April 27, 2005 03:31 PM (GMT)
I can't believe you guys get your girlfriends to watch wrestling.
Mad Dog - April 27, 2005 03:35 PM (GMT)
Seriously. I have trouble with football, I couldn't imagine wrestling.

My girlfriend is an incredibly good sport and I have been good by only watching wrestling with her a handful of times. I think the last time I watched it with her was the Kane/Lita wedding.
That and Sundays are usually the only day we can get together because we both have busy college/work schedules.

Scrooge McSuck - April 28, 2005 01:48 AM (GMT)
I don't see 3 matches being thrown on. Batista/HHH can easily eat up 30 minutes, as can Jericho/Benjamin (I see 20 minutes here for the match, though), and another 20-30 for Edge/Benoit. That leaves about 70 minutes. With matches, promos, and recaps for the Tag Match and Kane/Viscera, that should leave room for 1 more match, MAYBE 2.

If I have to watch "The O.C." and Gilmore Girls, she can watch wrestling.
But I'm going to have to do something drastic to match her going to ROH with me twice
Scrooge McSuck - April 28, 2005 01:52 AM (GMT)
Don't diss Gilmore Girls... of course, I only watch it for whacking material.

...It was half that...
Scrooge McSuck - May 2, 2005 05:13 AM (GMT)
I meant the match, intros, recap... it easily ate up 30 minutes, because Christians promo ended at around 10:18 EST.
Mad Dog - May 2, 2005 12:40 PM (GMT)
Here are the results:
Scrooge McSuck: 5-5
Mad Dog 5-5
GreatWhiteChoate 4-5
jamiegeist 4-5
SamoaRowe 5-5
Real F'n Show 4-5
WMD 4-5
Wrestlevessel 4-5
prof plague 5-5
So with the 4 way tie we head to the tiebreakers:
Tiebreaker 1: Who gets pinned, submitted in the tag match? Daivari so Scrooge, Mad Dog, SamoaRowe and prof plague move on
Tiebreaker 2: Finish to the main event? Scrooge is the only one to get it right.
So the winner of the first PPV pick em game is SCROOGE MCSUCK
Scrooge McSuck - May 2, 2005 03:56 PM (GMT)
Backlash was a rather predictable PPV, especially when I picked first. I usually suck at these things.

Yeah, no one did poorly, as the scores were all 5-5 or 4-5. Hopefully Judgment Day will be a bit more difficult to call.

It was rather predictable, as it is the PPV after WrestleMania.
prof_plague - May 2, 2005 06:13 PM (GMT)
I just recapped all of the answers. I shouldn't have been so specific when I said "Batista reverse the Pedigree..." because I said he was going to win cleanly with the Batista Bomb (although I did refer to it as a sit-out powerbomb).
Although Scrooge still would have won overall.
