So, I ditched this idea awhile back, mostly because of boredom and lack of time to simulate the matches. But now that I got a few days off coming up, I think I'll restart it and see how it does.

Basically, I have a bunch of indy wrestlers created on the PS2 game WWE Smackdown vs. Raw. I simulate the matches, and the storylines progress through match results and so on.

I ditched the whole 32-man Tournament deal, because honestly, I get too bored sitting through 31 matches and seeing what happens. So instead, I'm thinking about doing an 8-man tournament to crown the first champion.

Also, for the shows, I'm gonna have shows with less matches, so I don't lose interest in this right away. Probably 3-4 matches per show, leading up to a "supershow" every month or so with 8-9 matches, sorta like PPVs.

I'll get around to posting the full 32-man roster in a bit. Also, since there are only 32 CAW spots with one memory card in this game, if I decide to add someone, I'll have a poll which decides who I delete to fit the new wrestler into the game.

One last thing to note. I will not be playing most of these matches, just simulating them. The only situation that I will play in is if I NEED to have someone win for some reason or another.

TV Preview

Super Indy Pro's debut show kicks off this weekend, and with all the hype surrounding this promotion, you can bet your asses we will deliver.

Already signed for the first ever episode of SIPW TV is a grudge match pitting the former leader of the group Generation Next, Alex Shelley, against the current leader of the group Austin Aries. Aries claims that since he is the ROH champion, he is the best in indy wrestling and automatically deserves a spot in SIPW's World Title Tournament. But Aries' former ally and current nemesis Shelley had something to say to that. Shelley thinks he deserves a spot more because he has accomplished more on the indy circuit than Aries has, and is the better wrestler. With 7 spots already filled, these two will go toe to toe on SIPW's first show to see who gets the 8th and final spot in the tournament.

The following have already recieved berths into the tournament: Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, Homicide, Chris Daniels, CM Punk, Paul London, and AJ Styles.

The winner of Aries/Shelley will join these 7 to round out the field of 8.
