This is a 2-disc set.

History's most feared tag team returns...

They "snacked on danger, and dined on death" for two decades, dominating professional wrestling and immortalizing themselves as the only team ever to hold all three major titles (NWA(WCW), AWA, WWE).

Hawk and Animal, better known as The Legion of Doom, rampaged through the AWA, NWA, All Japan Pro Wrestling, WCW and WWE.

In this DVD, the stunning journey unfolds, from their auspicious debut in the early 1980s to the tragic death of Michael "Hawk" Hegstrand in 2003. Ride along with the Road Warrior's most memorable bouts, interviews and more.

Brutal. Commanding. Unforgettable.

Oh, What a Rush!

Definitely gonna get it. It's too good to pass up.

whitemilesdavis - April 15, 2005 01:54 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I'll be picking that up the first day it's available.

Mad Dog - April 15, 2005 03:26 PM (GMT)
They need to give a big fat raise to whoever picked the matches for this DVD.

Kind of surprising Huh? I was shocked that they didn't give it the "Uh....it's the Road Warriors, they'll buy anything we put on it" treatment.

whitemilesdavis - April 15, 2005 03:36 PM (GMT)
I'm surprised the Battle of the Belts (1985) match vs. Hansen and Race isn't there. It's cool though, cause I already have it.

Mad Dog - April 15, 2005 03:39 PM (GMT)
I was most impressed that they didn't make it all about the WWF. Remember the nWo DVD where half the DVD was about their 2 month run in the WWF?

whitemilesdavis - April 15, 2005 03:40 PM (GMT)
Ecatatic about that.

Scrooge McSuck - April 15, 2005 03:40 PM (GMT)
A little stupid... it would've been nice to have the last televised LOD match in WWE on the DVD (vs. RVD/Kane). Other than that... holy god damn fuck, I want this DVD.

whitemilesdavis - April 15, 2005 03:42 PM (GMT)
I'm REALLY glad they didn't put their over-the-hill job on there. I'd rather remember them as the invincible force they were from my childhood.

Mad Dog - April 15, 2005 03:43 PM (GMT)
Same here, I'd rather just remember knowing someone was getting fucked up when Iron Man hit the speakers.

Scrooge McSuck - April 15, 2005 03:44 PM (GMT)
Maybe as an Easter Egg? WWE put a crappy and repetitive RVD/Jericho match on the RVD DVD... why not a piece of history on the Road Warriors?

It's strange considering that they were just over as Hogan at that point. WOW.

Stop trying to weasel Kane into all our discussions. That match was not a part of history. The "Hulk Hogan" of tag teams was paid for a one time jobber match. Pathetic.

Scrooge McSuck - April 15, 2005 04:03 PM (GMT)
Who wants to weasel Kane in? How about when Kane attacked Hawk in the Winter of 97/98? :P

Seriously... God Damn, this is an awesome DVD.

prof_plague - April 15, 2005 07:48 PM (GMT)
I have never really been a big Road Warriors fan, but the DVD set looks nice.

Apparently you're not an 80's child such as myself, WMD, and MD are.

Mad Dog - April 15, 2005 07:56 PM (GMT)
The Midnight Express still have the best music ever in wrestling.

prof_plague - April 15, 2005 08:00 PM (GMT)
I didn't start watching until mid-90s. I've seen some of the older stuff trying to catch-up (at least PPV stuff), but I haven't seen as much as I would like.

Right on.

If you were a kid in the 80's who ever wanted to feel the least bit tough....you idolized the Road Warriors.

prof_plague - April 15, 2005 08:28 PM (GMT)
Don't forget, I would've been 5 by the time the 80s were over.

Benoit is God - April 15, 2005 09:38 PM (GMT)
RARE MATCHES~!~!

This, I am buying.

TehDoct0r - April 16, 2005 01:34 AM (GMT)
