Description: to DWB

Big F'N Swigg - April 7, 2005 02:07 AM (GMT)
Just saying welcome to DWB. If you don't mind, tell us a bit about yourself

SamoaRowe - April 7, 2005 08:02 PM (GMT)
How come Stuttsy (sp?) didn't get his own thread?

B)

Mad Dog - April 7, 2005 08:07 PM (GMT)
He got a welcome in whatever thread he first posted in.

SamoaRowe - April 7, 2005 08:08 PM (GMT)
Ah.

How come I didn't get a welcome then B)

Mad Dog - April 7, 2005 08:11 PM (GMT)
You were posting here before I was so I can't answer that question.

Scrooge McSuck - April 7, 2005 08:15 PM (GMT)
How come I didn't get a welcome? :(

whitemilesdavis - April 7, 2005 08:15 PM (GMT)
I'd like to welcome SamoaRowe to the board.

Welcome.

SamoaRowe - April 7, 2005 08:20 PM (GMT)

Well, duh, I'd be more upset if people didn't insult me for that one.

prof_plague - April 7, 2005 10:29 PM (GMT)
Wait? What about me? And how come I got picked as The Missing Link?

Stuttsy - April 12, 2005 05:08 AM (GMT)

Since StatMark is gay, I'll tell you about him.

StatMark is a lot like me, he watches a lot of wrestling tapes, except with more football and comics and movies thrown in. Also, the wrestling he watches has wrestlers with names like Red Rooster and Aldo Montoya whereas the wrestling I watch has wrestlers with names like Murdoch and Condrey. He agrees with me that Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin from Survivor Series 1996 is the best match in WWF history and lives with an incredibly sexy woman.

whitemilesdavis - April 12, 2005 12:38 PM (GMT)
It's a shame he's gay...letting that sexy woman go to waste and all.

Stuttsy - April 12, 2005 04:04 PM (GMT)

That's where I come in... :D

Dude, the innuendo in that is miserably twisted

Stuttsy - April 13, 2005 03:12 AM (GMT)

Remarkably reflective of real life.

Good lord...I had no idea this thread was even here until f'n Stutts filed me in...just kept refreshing the reviews page over and over waiting for the new one from Miles...sad, I know...

Anyways, anything you need to know is at my BLOG where I review all these Southern Indy shows that Stutts and I work on which I am insanely biased towards but still highly critical of.

Contrary to the previous summary of myself, I prefer me some Michaels or Steamboat while Bret-Austin (SSeris96) is one of the most overrated matches I've ever seen despite being a fan of both men (yeah yeah, I know...pan away). Been a fan since '87 (old man to some, a baby to others) and workin in the indys off and on since 98, weely since 2000.

And yes, I spend a very inordinate amount of time watching wrestling but yet still have several wonderful women in my life, none moreso than the one I live with. It's a complete fluke for sure as I have no game as I'm frequently reminded.

Any further inquries about me personally are more than welcome...I have no life.

whitemilesdavis - April 13, 2005 12:28 PM (GMT)
I'll get that review up today. I'm kind of worried that it's too positive. We smarks have a reputation to uphold.

Stuttsy - April 13, 2005 07:15 PM (GMT)

If you're ever in the business, you'll realize what a welcome, welcome change positivity is.

whitemilesdavis - April 13, 2005 07:18 PM (GMT)
I, (and actually most of the folks on this board), actually watch wrestling because we enjoy it. I'm not afraid to call something out for being stupid or bad, but I'm also not afraid to just relax and enjoy myself.

Stuttsy - April 13, 2005 07:27 PM (GMT)

See, that's beautiful man.

These uber-critical 'Net smarks ruin it for not only themselves but a lot of other people too. Like these jerk offs who come to a show to try and get themselves over. What a waste of carbon. We even have them down here in NC, which is generally home to more traditional good ole' rasslin' fans. And they annoy the piss out of me.

And I'm pretty sure that I can speak for Real F'N Show on this too......but we will make sure that THOSE kind of fans don't make their way here.

Mad Dog - April 13, 2005 08:19 PM (GMT)
I tend to just sit quietly in my seat when I go to wrestling shows. I trash the WWF a lot but.... well..... it's the WWF.

So you go to shows to insult the World Wildlife Fund? :P

Mad Dog - April 13, 2005 10:46 PM (GMT)
I refuse to call them WWE. They will always be the WWF to me and I shall always call them that.

Well I have no problem with that.....but you would at least punch a panda in the face though? Right?

Mad Dog - April 13, 2005 11:04 PM (GMT)
Sure.
