Title: Hacksaw Jim Duggan

Mad Dog - April 2, 2005 10:19 PM (GMT)
So Columbus has a convention called Origins every year. In recent years the company that publishes the Legends of Wrestling card game has started coming and bringing wrestlers with them. So my question is would you go to said convention and pay to get in to meet Duggan. Now there are other reasons to go because I'm interested in other things there.

But would you go out of your way to meet him?

BTW, I'm going because Duggan has always been a favorite of mine.

No. He's a shithead. Watch any of his shoot interviews. He comes across as a total gobshite who thinks the wrestling business owes him something because people cheered for his flag waving a few years ago.

APPARANTLY - he was called on the carpet in WCW for stealing Lance Storm (a midget, btw)'s heat.

And he said he was insulted doing the Revolution angle, because Douglas, Malenko and Saturn were all, and I quote, "Munchkins"

Like D.A.V.E. said, Duggan is a shithead who thinks he is owed everything in the world because he wrapped himself in an American Flag.

Fuck him in his dirty tight selling ass.

I say if he is a favorite of your's, you should definitly go. If I had the opportunity I would probably go too, at least for kicks.

But I would totally ask him what the hell is was thinking when he joined Team Canada in 2000 :P

Don't forget castrating Alex Wright's offense at Fall Brawl 99

If he's a favorite.....go meet him. Especially if there are other interests of yours there. Plus, remember.....wrestling is in a "down time" right now. You might even get to have a half decent convo with him because of the lack of fans.

"Sit on the Dildo Blender, tough guy!"

prof_plague - April 3, 2005 07:54 PM (GMT)
If you have the chance, you might as well. It might not be teh best day of your life ever, but it might be worth it for kicks. And then you can come back on the board and post what happened. ;)

Yeah, Bagwell was there last year and I heard he was loads of fun. So I might as well.

Hacksaw would be great to meet. He's a great guy according to what Bobby Heenan has told me.

Scrooge McSuck - April 8, 2005 03:59 AM (GMT)
The medicine must've gone to Heenans brain... Duggan is probably a nice guy, but seems very full of himself (extra full) in his interviews.

Actually I was friends with Bobby before he had cancer. Jim is a legit nice guy and he has a lot to be proud of as far as his accomplishments go.

I'm hoping I luck out and he brings the Television Title with him.

You should ask him to come to your house and sweep up your driveway.

I wish I had some cash. I'd actually ask how much he wanted for the belt if he had it with him.

Actually I think he sold it on Ebay with his dirty tights.

The guy who won never paid for it so I believe Duggan still has it.
