Title: Matches you feel were underrated
Description: a.k.a matches that "sucked" you enjoy

'Self explanitory title I think. What matches that are considered bad by the majority of wrestling fans have you enjoyed?
Here's a few for me right now...
WWF:
The Undertaker vs. Kane (WM XIV) - Definitely not a classic, but possible 1 of Undertakers best matches that isn't against a work horse. Both men held their own here, the storyline leading into the match was great, and we got some cool spots. What more could you ask for the combination?
Hulk Hogan vs. Sgt. Slaughter (WM VII) - Seriously, I don't udnerstand how some people don't like this match. IT was probably the second best match of the show with some good psychology into it (I guess it was no DQ since the referee ignored multiple cheating spots with chairs and wires).
Mr. Perfect vs. Shawn Michaels (SSlam '93) - This gets a bad reputation because it was pimped as "omg best match ever" by WWF before it happened, which results almost all the time in a disastor. Still a good match, but this was during Shawns lazy period.
[/b]WCW:[/b]
Sting vs. Black Scorpion (Starrcade 90) - Sure the angle was horrible and the blowoff was even worse, but it was still a competant match on a show that had a lot of heatless tag matches.
Sting vs. Sid Vicious (HHavoc 90) - Yes, Sting again, and he does his best to carry the walking luggage to a good match before a horrible finish. What was with WCW booking Sting like garbage in 1990!?

Unforgiven 2002: Billy and Chuck vs 3 Minute Warning.
Call me crazy, but it's about five minutes of great tag team action between four guys who generally suck otherwise. I would actually say this match was *** for the entertainment factor alone.

I agree with Hogan/Slaughter. From that same show, I think the oft-bashed Hart Foundation/Nasty Boys match was perfectly good and very entertaining.
WCW
Anything with Harlem Heat. They were always BASHED on the net but I always found them insanely entertaining.
ROH
Homicide vs BJ Whitmer, MES
Anyone on the ROH boards will bitch about this match and then suck off Jack Evans. Fuck that. This match was a spotfest, but in a head drop way instead of a high spot way. I have NEVER been as into a match live as I was into this, so fuck everyone who hates it.

Hogan/Slaughter was about *** in my opinion. Very smartly worked match from both guys. But it's Hogan and smarks like to bash everything he does.

Hogan/Warrior also I must go with. Hogan did a complete carry job on Warrior in the ultimate clash of top "performers" and did a job as clean as humanly possible (to a weak as hell splash), but some people just love saying "It's a boring mess".

I actually enjoy that match too. It had a great build and feel to it. I also believe the ending where Hogan humbly hands the belt to Warrior is one of the defining moments of Hogan's career that led to him becoming "Immortal."

I don't think there is any consensus that this match "sucked" but I find Bobby Eaton vs. Ric Flair from the June 1991 Clash of Champions to be one seriously underpimped gem. That is fifteen minutes of beautiful wrestling.

Definately a sweet match. People DON'T actually talk about that match enough....

They really don't.
Continuing my relentless MX love, Eaton & Lane vs. Condrey & Rose from Starrcade 1988 is ALL kinds of fun with Cornette babyfacing it up and Paul E. having a complete fit at every turn. Really fun match.

That was an entertaining match. Jim Cornette as a face just seems weird, but he was heeling it up still, which made it even better.
I haven't seen Eaton/Flair since the originally in 1991, but I remember liking it back then. I thought Eaton had a chance to win, too. :(
