Title: So I picked up an NWA:FLA DVD...

The Last Free Voice - March 31, 2005 06:29 PM (GMT)
It was Rage in the Cage 04. Pretty decent show. I liked the Cruiserweight stuff more than the heavy stuff. Clark always impresses, and his opponent, Naphalti did as well. I was REALLY impressed by Justice, and I was cheering for him to win the big match at the end. Overall, a good show, and totally worth the ten bucks I spent on it.

Anyone else watch this fed? If so, any reccomendations on Justice in particular?

Mad Dog - March 31, 2005 06:33 PM (GMT)
Is Justice a bigger guy?

If so I believe that's Abyss.

The Last Free Voice - March 31, 2005 06:47 PM (GMT)
Oh no. Justice is a skinny cruiserweight flippy ninja. He rocks.

Abyss is good too though.

I think I saw Justice on a CZW show once. Is he a masked guy?

The Last Free Voice - March 31, 2005 08:50 PM (GMT)
He has facepaint. But it does kinda look like a mask. Lots of tatoo's, martial arts style (hence me calling him a ninja). I liked him alot. So much, in fact, that I'm now booking him in my ROH Fantasy thing (PLUG).

Abyss was called Prince Justice in NWA Wildside.

Did you order this LFV, or did you actually find this in a store?

The Last Free Voice - April 1, 2005 01:41 AM (GMT)
found it in a store. Right up at the front for ten bucks. I'm like "why not?". And it was worth it. I seriously want to see more of Justice, and probibly the other Naphalti/Clark ladder match they talked about on this show.

Real F'n Show - April 1, 2005 01:56 AM (GMT)
Was it at a chain store like FYE or Best Buy? I've heard good things about this fed. Got a few questions for ya, LFV:

Are there any outsiders (ie: guys that don't normally wrestle for them that I would know of) on this?

Are the matches clipped?

Also, was there any Mikey Batts on this DVD?

The Last Free Voice - April 1, 2005 02:05 AM (GMT)
It was at a small store called videogame Music exchange. So no, not a chain store.

Um, I'm not sure, but Danny Doring was on it. Scoot Andrews was a reg, as is Clark. So as far as outsiders, maybe Doring but that's it.

Matches looked to be full, but there was some sloppy camera work that could have hid clippage, but I doubt it.

Mikey Batts was briefly in the "Rage In The Cage" battle royal, but no singles match.

I've got Tradition is about to Change and it's OK. Justice has a match w/ Jimmy Rave on there that's not so great, but I HATE Jimmy Rave.

Mad Dog - April 2, 2005 09:32 PM (GMT)
I don't like Rave either. I don't see what people see in the guy.

dynamite kido - April 2, 2005 09:34 PM (GMT)
I was in the group that HATED Rave, but honestly.....I think he's gotten a lot better of the last year or so.

Mad Dog - April 2, 2005 09:39 PM (GMT)
I don't hate him. I just see him as generic boring indy lightweight type guy.

dynamite kido - April 2, 2005 10:06 PM (GMT)
That's the way I used to feel about him too. He's changed his style a bit though and is now more mat based compared to before. He's still not the greatest......but he's shown a decent amount of improvement IMO.

The Last Free Voice - April 3, 2005 10:27 PM (GMT)
My ROH Dvd's came in (Joe Punk II and ASXII) and I really dug Rave's match with Walters on ASX. I like him fine. I just don't like the fact he sometimes looks like a nerveous kid on a first date and lacks intensity.

whitemilesdavis - April 4, 2005 12:35 PM (GMT)
Most of what I've seen from him was Wildside, so I am a bit behind the times. I'm just glad LFV's watching a little wrestling again.
