Title: I met the original Midnight Express
Description: last night!!!

I went to an IWC indy show here in Pittsburgh last night and got to meet Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey!!! I basically marked out like a five year old and watched them win the IWC Tag Titles against Southern Comfort(Smothers & Hamrick) and they didn't do too bad either. I just figured I would share that as they are some of my favorites of all time..........

That's pretty cool. I've never really gotten to see much of that version of the team in action. <_<

Real F'n Show - December 12, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
That's awesome man. I'm assuming you got pcitures/autographs? That rules.

How was the match? Does that fed sell tapes?

dynamite kido - December 13, 2004 01:11 AM (GMT)
ignore

dynamite kido - December 13, 2004 01:12 AM (GMT)
Had to get some autographs (although the old school guys are the only ones I really want auto's from......)

Peter North, yes they sell tapes. You can get them directly from iwcwrestling.com, rohwrestling.com, or smartmarkvideo.com. Also, a lot of traders have their stuff too............

How did Bobby Eaton look physically? I haven't seen him since around 1999 (I missed the TNA show he did where he fought Kid Kash) and wondered how well he aged... even more.

dynamite kido - December 13, 2004 01:17 AM (GMT)
Eaton didn't look bad and neither did Eaton. They didn't go all out of anything, but they worked a nice little old school tag team match for sure. Eaton didn't look like he used to, but was in good shape for his age.

Judging by the picture in your sig they both look pretty good considering their age. I expected some size 50 waists.

I was thinking the same thing.....

Thanks, Kido, I'll be checking them out. I like the idea of their being an old-school fed. There's so many guys out there they could use, and people would get into it, simply because unlike a lot of indies, you already have a lot of name recognition. The stuff they're doing with Tully and Dusty and Nikita and all them should continue, if it's physically possible for them to do so. A good territory-like fed that runs the Carolinas and features old-school JCP guys? Shit, i'm there. How are the shows they've been doing?

You mean IWC? They've been doing good stuff for the last year pretty consistantly. They don't bring in old school wrestlers ofter.....but they do have a yearly legends show and they are basically just a normal indy fed any other time.
