Title: Do we need the Flame Wars folder?
Description: Yes or no.

There have been good arguments for and against Flame Wars. Some say it leads to flaming spilling into other folders, while others say that if we didn't have it, flaming would happen all over.
But since this is the greatest board of all time, I'll let you, the posters, decide.

I voted for "no" because I'm not big into flaming and when I actually do it gets taken too literally.

I think for us it's ok but it attracts the wrong kind of posters and it ruins the board when they venture out and pollute the rest of the board with their stupidity. It's also going to lead to people taking it seriously and it spilling over.

You know, we could just make all the regulars mods and then keep out goofing off in a Mod-only folder. But I'm not too particular either way.
I will say, though, that part of our "special mystique" is the great sense of humor we all share.

I think that's a great idea. We already know the regulars are capable of having a good flame wars folder, plus it will make us seem so much cooler to future members :P
