Real F'n Show - March 24, 2005 10:16 PM (GMT)
I don't really understand the plot from the previews, but it looks badass. I really like the idea of the black and white. I'll definately be checking this out.

dynamite kido - March 24, 2005 10:23 PM (GMT)
You know it was a comic book first don't you RFS?

Yeah, but I've never read it or even seen an issue. Have you read it?

dynamite kido - March 24, 2005 11:04 PM (GMT)
I haven't, but I've been tempted to pick them up on my monthly trip to the comic book shop.

Real F'n Show - March 24, 2005 11:07 PM (GMT)
My girlfriend already knows I'm a huge nerd for watching wrestling. If she knew I was reading comic books too, she'd probably break up with me. And I need my sex. I'll stick to going to the movie.

SamoaRowe - March 24, 2005 11:11 PM (GMT)
I've seen images from the comic book and know some rough details about it, but I've actually never even seen it in a store before (but then again I know I shop at the wrong places).

I know the movie has taken great lenghts to capture images from the comic shot for shot, so it should be tremendous.

Big F'N Swigg - March 25, 2005 04:10 AM (GMT)
You retards. Go to Barnes & Noble and read the graphic novels.

Putting lipstick on your hand and masturbating doesn't count.

Why, when you should be trying to bone one of the broads that work there.

C'mon Swigg, your married and shit but you still gotta get down with the program.

Really?!?!? I'VE BEEN LIVING A LIE! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to learn how to masturbate with my foot.

You must have a fetish for fat chicks with white fro's, my friend. That's all the ones I see working at Barnes & Noble here.

EDIT: And I wasn't down with the program when I was single. Why start now?

Real F'n Show - March 29, 2005 06:22 PM (GMT)
Wow...Jessica Alba's a stripper in this movie. I'm sold already.

D.A.V.E. - March 29, 2005 09:29 PM (GMT)
Personally, I'm more stoked for Fantastic Four (where Alba is invisible and I don't have to look at her, HAH), but yeah, this oughta rock

Real F'n Show - March 29, 2005 10:16 PM (GMT)
That post just screams D.A.V.E. is gay.

God, I hate you.

The Last Free Voice - March 29, 2005 11:09 PM (GMT)
You just said you didn't want to look at Jessica Alba... You're either gay or totally nuts... Or have horrible taste in women. I'll give you the benifit of the doubt and say you're just totally nuts.

D.A.V.E. - March 30, 2005 05:31 PM (GMT)
Was my previous comment deleted????

The Last Free Voice - March 30, 2005 05:33 PM (GMT)
Well, unless you mean the original comment about not wanting to see Alba, I'm going to say yes. Either that or it just didn't post.

Well I did, but only because I thought it was derailing the convo.

No offense....

D.A.V.E. - March 30, 2005 06:22 PM (GMT)
No it's cool, don't worry about it

Big F'N Swigg - April 3, 2005 03:44 AM (GMT)
GREAT FUCKING MOVIE!

Beautifully stylistic, while still retaining the hearty stories. And for you gore fans, there is plenty.

TehDoct0r - April 3, 2005 04:14 AM (GMT)
Yea. That absolutely blew my fuckin mind. The cinematography was great, and the only part of the movie I was skeptical about (Elijah Wood) was handled in the most insanely genius way I could ever have imagined. Amazing, amazing film.

Big F'N Swigg - April 3, 2005 05:19 PM (GMT)
Not to mention it's an almost perfect translation of the comic books.

SamoaRowe - April 7, 2005 08:43 PM (GMT)
I saw the movie this afternoon and I thought it was great. I really liked the opening credits how they matched the actors with their character's image from the graphic novels. The acting was top notch as well and Jessica Alba is always good to look at too ;)

The Last Free Voice - April 9, 2005 03:11 PM (GMT)
I saw it earlier in the week and I loved it. I'm going to buy one of the Graphic Novels today. Great fuckin movie.

dynamite kido - April 10, 2005 12:32 AM (GMT)
I just saw this today......it was incredible. Great film.

The Last Free Voice - August 19, 2005 05:39 PM (GMT)
Just got it on DVD. Still as awesome as I thought it was (even better, actually, as I'venow read some of the graphic Novels). I was slightly disapointed by the minimal special features (only a behind the scenes thign), but I suppsoe there'll be a special edition in the future....

dynamite kido - August 19, 2005 06:49 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I'm probably going to hold out for the Special Edition myself unless I just pick it up at Hollywood Video off the 3 for $25 rack.
