Title: Lance Hoyt

After watching the preshow I have to say that he's turned into an excellent tag team worker. He still sucks as a single but he does really well in his team with Kash. I think Kash and Hoyt should get another run with the tag titles and see what happens this time.

Well, I don't think he's terrible as a tag wrestler. That may have more to do with the fact that him and Kash work alright together. I've never seen him tag with anyone else so it might just be he's good with Kash. It kind of sucks though, because I think that TNA could use Kash better in singles matches as opposed to using him on the preshow in tag matches. But I guess I'm no Dusty Rhodes at booking.....

I saw him tag with Abyss last summer and he still looked pretty good. But again it's Abyss so who knows.
I would like to see Kash get an upper card push but I think the tag division needs him too. The Destination X Preshow match showed just how badly the tag division needs them IMO.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get an upper card push either, but I really don't think he'd be good with it. Personally though, I think it'd be a little better if they would just involve him in a feud.

Hoyt was Dallas, right?
Isn't he just a Diesel wannabe?

In singles matches he becomes your generic tall guy with tall guy offense. He seems to break out of that mold when he's in tag matches.

I haven't seen him in a while. He never gave me anything to be excited about earlier.
About Shocker; I was just looking at TNA's site. How old is he? His face looks very old.
Mad Dog - March 23, 2005 06:04 PM (GMT)
I'd say mid to late 30s.
EDIT: Younger than I thought at 33.
whitemilesdavis - March 23, 2005 06:07 PM (GMT)
Wow, he must have done some serious blading in his day.

Kash and Hoyt work well together because it's a great big man-little man combo.
Personally I've nothing against the guy, and he seems to have the basics down, if nothing else. They're not gonna push the guy to the moon anytime soon so I've no problem with him where he is

I remember ordering one of the X Cups and the show closed with Kid Kash and Dallas defending the Tag titles against Low Ki and Chris Daniels. The match kicked all sorts of ass and did a great job of making it look like it could go either way. I wish I still had that tape.
I think Dallas is a tremendous tag team wrestler because of that match, even if he was surrounded by three extremely talented workers.
