I was thinking of the Carny episode of the Simpsons for "Kooter", and Tomkin I think was Tubby's last name on Little Lulu. K. is just random, like every tv character is "J" middle initial.

That just reminded me of the time I was playing WrestleMania 2000 for the N64. I was a CAW and I was facing my CAW version of Rikishi. I said to my friend "If Rikishi kicks out of this cover, I'm going to throw the game cartridge out the window." Of course my God-like Rikishi kicked out, so my friend wanted to know if I was going to follow through with my promise. "No," I said, "I'd only be outside in a few minutes looking for it."

Heheh... speaking of awesome video game moments, earlier today in MLB 2K5 season, I was down 3-2, bottom of the 9th, with 1 out (drafted teams incase of anyone seeing aproblem). I was going "please hit a fucking home run", and the next batter, Bobby Crosby, lines a shot into the left field wall, and it bounces around like a ping pong, giving me a inside the parker to tie it up.


14th inning, and Crosby with a walk off home run. :)

That's awesome stuff, makes me want to purchase more sports games.

The last real sports game I owned was actually International Superstar Soccer for the N64. It was a great game, I bred myself a team of super players which would win every game 30-0 :D

This was first game I got since like 2002 (for Sports). Finally a challenge, especially from the pitchers POV when batting. My D-Rays lineup isn't too great, but I have aces Roger Clemens and Johan Santana. Tanyon Sturtze and Jorge Sosa have been doing great for long relief and Starter5 roles, and Felix Heredia's smoke is making him nearly hitless. Joe Nathan as closer hasn't had much work, only 2 IP. in 8 games (6-2 record for me).

My lineup has a few speedsters (Carl Crawford and Juan Pierre), but after that I have a basic lineup with Rocco Baldelli, Tino Martinez, Miguel Cairo, Paul Lo Duca, Carlos Pena, and Bobby Crosby. (I'm forgetting someone here)

Edit: Oh yeah... B.J. Upton, who has got me quite a few clutch situation hits and runs.

Wow, suddenly sports games sound fun again.

I haven't had a baseball game since the original one for the NES.

Tino is trying my patience... in my previous season (before I deleted it) he was batting .411 with 8 HR's and 24 RBIs after 12 games. Now he's only batting .303 with 0 HR and 1 RBI after 8. I guess Tropicana Field sucks compared to Yankee Stadium... and it does, bitches!
