That's right. They gave three extremely limited workers a 30 minute match as one of their main events.
Albert also appeared over the weekend but I have no problem with that as I think he's an underrated worker.

Albert wouldn't be THAT bad in AJ. Too bad all the other WWE rejects that are there are fucking awful. Hell, if Jamal is getting the push he's been getting....then fucking A-Train should be the next Triple Crown winner.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Stamboli, I always felt like he could do more than what he was allowed to do in WWE and WCW.
Call me crazy, but I'd actually like to see that match.

Stamboli had some really fun hardcore matches in WCW before breaking his pelvis against Terry Funk. I was never impressed with him after that.

Stamboli is pretty bad now though. They were going The NEW Great Muta route with him, but he couldn't cut it. So they took away the gimmick and he wrestles under Stamboli there now.

Just curious; Do you remember the match that Stamboli broke his pelvis against Funk? Do you think that was the turning point in his being able to have an entertaining match? I don't remember anything good after that.
