Chris Jericho SO needs to bust out the "introduction" for Jannetty at Slamboree '98 now.
Mad Dog - March 22, 2005 06:05 AM (GMT)
They've been really parading out the boring as hell Raws since the Rumble.
I really hope someone comes to their senses or Undertaker isn't feeling it so Orton doesn't win at Mania.
I was also surprised to hear Batista drop an F bomb during that Taxi Driver commercial.
Scrooge McSuck - March 22, 2005 07:31 AM (GMT)
That Wrestlemania video was the best yet, especially Gene Snitskys line. I hate the guy, but he can bring the unintentional funny. Also Michael Cole popping in out of nowhere was quite humorous.
D.A.V.E. - March 22, 2005 11:55 AM (GMT)
Great show, liked it a lot. My favourite bit, apart from the WM commercial, was the little interaction between Coach and Flair, re: the open spot in Evolution.
whitemilesdavis - March 22, 2005 01:56 PM (GMT)
Welome to RAW, where we have 1hr 45min of public speaking!
Total snoozer for me. shelton's dive over the ropes was quite impressive though.
Mad Dog - March 22, 2005 02:56 PM (GMT)
They really need to stop the Triple H 20 minute promos every week. He never says anything and it's just boring at this point. I wonder how many people just change the channel when he comes on.

*raises hand*
I actually switched and watched a little bit of The Gauntlet II on MTV. That's bad.
Mad Dog - March 22, 2005 03:10 PM (GMT)
I turned it on, saw him sitting in the chair and decided to catch up on my DVRed shows.

Sadly, I've been saying this since 2000 <_<
I wasn't home yet when HHH did his promo but if I had been, I would've seen what was on USA or something.
The only sad part about Raw returning to USA will be that USA is the channel I usually watch when Raw is boring.
Scrooge McSuck - March 22, 2005 04:32 PM (GMT)
The second he sat down I went "oh shit" and went back to my ESPN 2K5 D-Rays season.
Mad Dog - March 22, 2005 07:52 PM (GMT)
After listening to the audio about 15 times I'm convinced that Batista said "fucking directors" during that commercial.
Scrooge McSuck - March 22, 2005 09:08 PM (GMT)
Ditto... it was clearly fu-king, unless he said the "c" like an "n" and said Funking.
Edit: I've been fucking up posts all day... I lost my sile. :( (ribs Barry Bonds)
Mad Dog - March 22, 2005 09:27 PM (GMT)
I'm not convince at all that he said anything else. There's no R in there at all.

So did I. Day after day I'm getting scared that me and WMD are seperately becoming the same person.
Except I'm not all for the porn of gayness.

And I'm not stoned out of my gord, thus forgetting my history in gay porn. Other than that though, yeah. Spooky.
Big F'N Swigg - March 23, 2005 02:32 AM (GMT)
The trailer on WWE.com has Batista saying "Freaking Directors."
But holy shit that was funny
Big F'N Swigg - March 25, 2005 03:32 AM (GMT)
Here's my thoughts on Smackdown, which I watched all the way through for the first time in years:
The segments went too long. Not WAY too long, but long enough for you to lose interest, which is bad.
Kurt Angle did a great HBK impression, but once he brought out his guest you knew what was going to happen.
Why are there so many people riding out in cars? It used to be a novelty, but now it just seems overdone. (I can't wait to see Cena riding in one.)
There were entertaining moments that showed some sort of hope, but it's just not "together" enough. Nothing linked things together really well
Scrooge McSuck - March 25, 2005 03:47 AM (GMT)
Is it sad that Marty Jannetty and Sensational Sherri, performers from years ago, have sold the Ankle Lock better than probably everyone on the roster combined?
SamoaRowe - March 25, 2005 03:48 AM (GMT)
I totally agree about the segments running too long. I lost interest in the Cena/JBL segment once Cena started ruining the limo again (what an original idea). I did think it was amusing when Cena cut off JBL's tie though.
The Undertaker segments were pure crap and an embarassment. I'm actually rooting for Orton now.
Carlito singing was crap, but I loved his backstage segment later on. Here's to hoping he meets up with Funaki in the ring soon.
Big F'N Swigg - March 25, 2005 03:52 AM (GMT)
I was actually amused by Carlito tonight. Though it's one of the few times I've actually seen him, I was pretty sure I didn't like him before. But he's growing on me.
And why don't they have JBL's cabinet come out to JBL's music?
And here's my one question about JBL: How is a character who is basically the same as the president of the US supposed to be heel?
jamiegeist - March 25, 2005 08:43 AM (GMT)
If I have to answer that I'll start shit that no one wants to be starting on here.

Agreed. Especially after he RKO's his dad.

*Bites lip*....Oh yeah, Swigg, you're a democrat too, so I'm guessing this was a rhetorical question.
Big F'N Swigg - March 26, 2005 04:05 AM (GMT)
Yes it is.
Now I'm going to go read my crazy liberal rhetoric

Cool. I'm gonna go make up some right-wing conspiracy theories.

"Oh Canada.... (sings incoherrently)"
