Who are the best live acts? Share your stories and whatnot here. Sadly I havent' been to many concerts, okay. I've been to none. But from clips and whatnot I've seen AFI is nutso live, and Green Day Looks fun. Muse looked good too. Evanessence looked pretty bad though.

U2 is great. I've seen them 3 times. Always great.

Other than them, most of my favorite live shows have been club shows. Afew noteworthy shows:

Everything, as mentioned earlier. I would say they were THE best live band from 95-2000.

Victor Wooten. Wonder who that guy in my avatar is? That's Vic. Bass player extroardinaire. He and his brothers form one of the most technically proficient bands of all time. On disc, it's kind of new-jazz/ R&B. Live, however they run the gamut. I've heard them cover Iron Man and several Hendrix songs alongside Stevie wonder songs. Cool, cool show.

NOFX. There is some classic punk for you. Heck of an energetic show.

Fishbone
Brian Setzer Orchestra
Living Colour

I've seen literally hundreds of live bands. Those are the few that stick out in my mind.

Tool is excellent live. Everytime I've seen them the show gets better. There sets are very well organized and they have some cool and creepy shit going on. The last time I saw them they had two guys in underwear (one fat, one really skinny guy) come up on their speakers and spin slowly. It was...strange.
