Fairly interesting show after Nakamura's invasion of All Japan last weekend. A Tenzan/Chono match could be fun as well. The six man could be good as well depending on who the masked CTU's are (I'm guessing Gedo, Jado and Tanaka).

Ron Waterman is still working? Jeez.
And how old is Chono? I've been hearing about him forever it seems.

I must say that this is a pretty good looking show for NJPW. I'm slightly interested in the Fujinami/Nishimura match as I really want to see how Fujinami is in the ring these days.
There's some good Jr. stuff on there as well that could make for some interesting stuff. The only thing that scares me is that Chono is going to win that Tourney......and god I hope he doesn't.
By the way....I fucking love the fact that Kojima/Nakamura is happening too. I wondering how long we'll be waiting for Kojima/Tanahashi though....

I'm hopeful that this is the start of a rebirth for the good New Japan. The shows have looked decent since the Dome Show in January.

Hopefully, they keep the IWGP on Kojima for a little and get a strong IWGP champion.....that's what they really need right now.
Mad Dog - March 16, 2005 03:49 PM (GMT)
I doubt Kojima will drop the title anytime soon. After making such a big deal about the IWGP vs. Triple Crown match there's no way he'll drop the belt before a few defenses.
I would like to see Tanahashi win the IWGP Title in July and then win the G-1 Climax.

I'm so for this....it's not even funny. I was thinking that he's going to lose the TC or the IWGP quickly. Not both....but I could see him loosing one real quick.

I think it'll be the TC. I wouldn't be surprised if New Japan has become very gun shy over the IWGP Title changing hands after the disaster they had last year with 5 changes.
dynamite kido - March 16, 2005 04:22 PM (GMT)
One problem though.....there is not one person that they could realistically put the TC on.
Mad Dog - March 16, 2005 05:02 PM (GMT)
I'm sure Mutoh is dying for another run with the TC.

How the hell did Tanahashi get bumped down the card that fast??? He's one half of the tag champs and on the gorram' poster????
Mad Dog - March 17, 2005 03:53 AM (GMT)
Probably just going to be a squash type match for him.
