Goat - March 4, 2005 04:59 AM (GMT)
So yea, I'm going to RAW on March 28th. It's the final Raw before Wrestlemania so I'm hoping it's going to be grand. I'm really excitied and I felt the needed to share it with other people. Any suggestion for arrival time/ sign ideas/ or genera info for a first timer?

Make sure to lube properly... oops, wrong thread..
I've never been to a WWE show either, but as much disdain as I have for their TV shows, I still think it would be fun.

If you want to see the wrestlers, hang out by where they park (aka where the TV satalite trucks are usually)after the show and you MIGHT get to meet some wrestlers.

Ideas for signs...
"I'd rather watch Puro"
"Fuck the Security Guards"
"Fuck the FFC II"
"I paid to see this?"
To make it look like you're an idiot
"Sting Rules"
"DDP Rules"
"(Giant Kane photo of him with a mask)"

What's a good time to arrive?
Scrooge McSuck - March 4, 2005 09:23 PM (GMT)
I'd say anywhere between 1-2 hours, depending on start time (as in which time zone you're in) or if you care enough to watch the Dark/Heat matches.

Definitly arrive at least an hour early, believe me, it helps set the mood (and you don't miss anything).
Act like a mark for everything, you'll have more fun that way.
Mad Dog - March 4, 2005 10:26 PM (GMT)
Be prepared for a lot of dead time. The early stuff is chaotic for the most part as wrestlers come out do a match and then there's probably 5 minutes of nothing before the next match starts. You most likely will have zero idea who one guy is up until Raw starts. The dark matches will probably suck hard because it'll be slugs from OVW involved. Also, the fireworks are really really loud. So be prepared for that.
I'll be honest and say I've never had a memorable night at a WWF show. WCW and ECW always seemed to have more exciting overall shows.

I've only been to one show - and it's so much more fun when I do. I mean, done to my standing ovation just for the entrance of Dude Love to face Road Dogg.
Mad Dog - March 4, 2005 10:47 PM (GMT)
I've always found house shows to be a bit more fun in general. People cut loose a little more on the mic and there's a lot less downtime.
Real F'n Show - March 4, 2005 11:23 PM (GMT)
You SO need to hold up a "Da Wrestling Board" sign.
Or a "Real F'n Show is my daddy" sign...
Either one would make my day Goat. Do me proud.

I hope your seats aren't facing the Titantron. I ended up watching it more than the ring when I went to RAW.

Sign idea....
KCUF THE FCC

"Tackle My Sign" would get some laughs out of me.
