Title: Wrestle Crap
Description: That You Liked
prof_plague - February 26, 2005 06:54 PM (GMT)
Sometimes we all have soft-spot for a gimmick or angle thay we all know sucks, but like it anyhow.
Which moments in WrestleCrap have you like, whether you like to admit it or not?
I for one, didn't mind Mordacei. I also liked IRS and even, yes, that's right, I like Repo Man. Not so much as a wrestler, but it was he had some funny angles, even with it considered WrestleCrap.
...What about everyone else?
Need a resource? Of course go to none other than:

Berserker
Damien Demento
The Genius
IRS
"Model" Rick Martel
Papa Shango
Repo Man
Well Dunn
WCW:
Guardian Angel - the Vader matches were under this name
The Dynamic Dudes - because I like seeing Shane Douglas humiliated
"Hole in One" Barry Darsow - I thought this gimmick was brilliant to be honest and it was one of the only reasons I was watching Saturday Night and Worldwide in 99
Mr. JL
Norman the Lunatic
Se7en - this was a really misunderstood gimmick
The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaukea - the entrance was kind of cool at least

That's true. I forgot "The Model" was considered wrestlecrap. I don't think that one was necessarily wrestler crap.
And The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaukea...was something different. But I didn't mind it too much. But then again, I mostly just watched WCW as fuller with WWF wasn't on, or just for the NWO...original NWO.
One of my favourite older wrestling games is for Sega. It was WWF: Monday Night Raw...or something like that. It had: Papa Shango, Rick "The Model" Martel, and IRS. ...Damn, that was a fun game.
They should come out with a wrestlecrap game now. ...This is starting to make me too nostaslgic.

Correction on the title of the thread: WrestleCrap is one word :), also, the real spelling for Berserker is "Berzerker". Although the TECHNICAL spelling of the word is "Berserk", the WWF on screen logos always had it with a "z". Ditto for Giant GonzaleZ, not GonzaleS.
Sorry, pet peeve. I hate mis-spelling of names and stuff.
I could've sworn I started something like this a month or two ago, but whatever. I'm sure the topic is somewhere.
WWF:
Repo Man
Ludvig Borga
Well Dunn
WCW:
Black Scorpion
Arachniman

Oops, sorry thugg. I was wondering about that. I tried spelling it both ways, but neither of them looked right for some reason. I think it's one ofthose things where you type a word so many times you think you've been spelling it the entire time.

You probably did, CB. I was just lazy and looked at what was on the first page, so you might have that thread in there, I just didn't notice.
I'm sorry, CB. :( :insert tear:
...I dedicate this thread to CB. Whom I probably ripped off his topic somewhere on the board. ...Although I don't think it was listed under General Wrestling, but I still may have missed it.

I think in Old School, something like "Guilty Favorites", which technically isn't Wrestlecrap. :(

I've said this elsewhere, but I'll say it here:
I loved Mordecai, and would've loved to seen it last longer. Mostly because it was a rip off of my best friends fantasy wrestling character.
Scrooge McSuck - February 27, 2005 03:28 AM (GMT)
Mordecai ruled... too bad Holly had to be a dick at GAB 04, which I heard was the main factor in the quick departure of the character. (the main factor because the performance was quite poor, which added onto his nervousness in front of the large WWE crowds)

Hahahaha. I've been wanting a good "religous zealat" sort of gimmick - and I finally got a good one. And then it's gone.

Looking back; someone could've become a mega heel if they had just popped Von Erich's fake foot off and beaten him with it during a match.
