While, first of all, I'd never bother to actually buy an action figure of Jeff Jarrett - I think someone needs to go to Trading Standards and find out what they did with the bllions of Kevin Nash bodies left around - because that's not Jarrett

Or AJ

Not even gonna ask

user posted image

My fiendish inability to tell these two idiots apart in human form is compounded by the fact that THEY HAVE THE SAME HEAD!!!!!!!!!!

user posted image

Daniels never smiles. Or looks like a fag to begin with

I have four Raven figures. That will not be joining them

Any thoughts?

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 01:49 AM (GMT)
I have DEFINITELY seen worse, especially some of the WCW action figures (I have a Bret Hart figure that looks like Howard Stern... seriously).

Jarrett's looks OK, but his eyes aren't that... weird, his hair's a little shorter, and he's not that ripped... if at all. Styles is fine, if a little too big looking, but BG James is God fucking awful.

... Why does AMW consist of Chris Harris and Chris Harris? I think he's fucking ugly and think James Storm is better, and they make TWO of the same guy... the one I hate?! Daniels looks a like a queer, but the rest of him looks fine.

OK... these kinda suck, but the WCW Bret Hart figure is 1000x worse looking.

D.A.V.E. - February 24, 2005 01:53 AM (GMT)
Just on the AMW issue - I've previously stated that I think James Storm (or, well, frankly, it could be Harris, I absolutely can't tell them apart) is the oddest looking human being on ths earth. And that includes me and the unibrow

Just a thought - the AMW Figures might be for show if they havent got the other guy scanned in yet.....

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 02:16 AM (GMT)
Either way, that is one of the worst figures I have ever seen. Whats with his body?!

SamoaRowe - February 24, 2005 03:21 AM (GMT)
Those toys looked a lot cooler when the only photos of them was that distant shot (the one with Jarrett, Styles, Raven, and Abyss).

They look shitty when looked upon up close. Even still, I must have those Styles and Daniels toys anyways.

And  at AMW having the same damn head molds!

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:37 AM (GMT)
It's the same figure, since both have "Wildcat" on their tights. :( Still, one ugly ass figure.

Big F'N Swigg - February 24, 2005 03:43 AM (GMT)
Raven looks like Gilbertti, The AMW figures look like the goofy WWE figures that "sweat", BG James' figure is embarassing, EVEN FOR A BG JAMES FIGURE. AJ and Jarrett just look odd. The faces and hair are slightly off.

The only ones that actually look like the wrestlers are BG and Daniels, even though BG looks like he wants to be slapped.

EDIT: Actually, Jarrett's face looks like a "Hulking Up" Hogan with hair.

prof_plague - February 24, 2005 04:20 AM (GMT)
Jarrett's head looks like Einstein on roids. And that AJ Styles figure does look like Disco Inferno. BG James looks like that "Wuzzup Mask" with the legs of the Dudleys. And as for AMW----ahahahahaah - kind of reminds me of Hall in the Razor Ramon days. But even scrawnier and disproportionate. ...Chris Daniels isn't too, too bad. At least by comparison. Raven isn't too bad either, but something about it I really don't like about it, but I don't know what.

...I might buy Chris Daniels though. ...But that's just me being a delightful mark. :D

Mad Dog - February 24, 2005 11:20 AM (GMT)
These are still miles ahead of any of the figures put out by the WWF in the mid to late 90s. But that's more due to how utterly awful WWF figures were.

The ECW figures were a lot worse as well.

SamoaRowe - February 24, 2005 02:31 PM (GMT)
So why does BG James get a figure before Ron Killings? Because he used to be in DX? Whatsupwitdat?

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:08 PM (GMT)
B.G James' figure looks like the old Darren Drozdov one from those older WWE figures, before going to the style currently used (All rubber except for head and upper torso). I pulled his tongue out and cut off his hair for no reason.

SamoaRowe - February 24, 2005 03:11 PM (GMT)
Now that I think of it, Raven's head looks more like Vince Russo.

Too bad CM Punk didn't stick around, I would've liked an action figure of him.

And CB is right on with the BG James figure looking like Droz.

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:12 PM (GMT)
Raven looks exactly like Vince Russo... if he had tattoos on every part of his body, and wore a skirt.

For some reason you just made me imagine if they made a figure of The Coach wearing the dress from Taboo Tuesday.

I would love to have a Russo figure so I could torture it. Maybe I'll buy that Raven figure afterall.

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:17 PM (GMT)
"Vince Russo in a skirt, you've sucked all your life. Tonight, you will face....

KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!"

(Kane figures comes out of a box)

I need a Bischoff figure.

I would need a Kane figure too, you have just made me want to purchase one really badly.

Damn Wal-Mart, all they ever have is Triple H, Chris Jericho, and Randy Orton...

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:23 PM (GMT)
Last time I bought a WWE Figure, all the store had (Target) was Tommy Dreamer, Rico, Brock Lesnar, and I think Billy Kidman.

I naturally got Tommy Dreamer so I could DDT RVD into hell.

SamoaRowe - February 24, 2005 03:26 PM (GMT)
I regret not buying Tommy Dreamer at Toys R Us when I had the chance.

I sort of wanted Kidman because he came with a ladder.

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:27 PM (GMT)
This weeks main event...

1984 Hulk Hogan, nWo Hollywood Hogan, and 2002 Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Purple Glove Undertakert, Ministry Undertaker, and Biker Undertaker

SMELL THE WORKRATE~!

SamoaRowe - February 24, 2005 03:29 PM (GMT)
Hm, my main events are usually Rob Van Dam and Chris Jericho killing each other. I really do need more wrestling figures.

:: Books Ministry Undertaker vs Marc Mero for the WWF title and suddenly can't wait to get home to set up the stunt action ring::

Am I really almost 21?

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:30 PM (GMT)
I'm almost 20, and I still play with them occasionally... (runs)

Hulk Hogan is a 34x World Champion since 1992.

Don't tell that to Triple H, suddenly he'll have a new goal.

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:32 PM (GMT)
On my last show, I jobbed him out to a headless Goldust. DAMN YOU FOR THE TERRETSYNDROM! (or whatever the spelling is)

Dare me to post all my results? lol

Just kidding... Hogans only a 13x Champion since last year.

You know, a list of your action figure results would be an awesome addition to the fantasy booking folder.

I wonder how much merchandise Headless Goldust sells.

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:34 PM (GMT)
I invented the one legged wrestler, too. My original Steve Austin had that action leg, and it snapped off, so I used him with 1 leg since like 1999.

Big F'N Swigg - February 24, 2005 03:36 PM (GMT)
I still play with my wrestling figures, and I'm 22. Raven is my perennial World Champion. But that's mostly because his only true competition is Jericho. And Earthquake.

I hate action features. I have a Roddy Piper figure that does this stupid lightning punch thingy.

Somehow a one-legged Stone Cold sounds just as intimidating.

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:41 PM (GMT)
A one-legged man IS good in an ass kicking contest.

Scrooge McSuck - February 24, 2005 03:43 PM (GMT)
Starting later, I'm gonna bring out my old results book, which is like 300 pages of stuff. I used WWF Figures, TMNT figures, and other random stuff that works.

I've just started to use the modern era figures.

That's awesome, can't wait to read it :)

dynamite kido - February 24, 2005 06:52 PM (GMT)
I'm not too big on these either.....but I would soooo buy the Chris Daniels one though.

Hahahah. So sad...

Not only did I use my TMNT figures, I also even used Toy Story figures. Yeah, I went there. Except now I only have a few figures available to play with. I even have Hardcore Holly, Hurricane, and Jamie Noble in my dorm room. I also have Ted DiBiase, except he's the Legends figure, so he mostly just stands duct-taped down to my computer monitor.

...I like annoying people with them. I'm President of my Hall Council, and I like to just start playing with the wrestler figures to delay meetings.

Scrooge McSuck - February 25, 2005 12:56 AM (GMT)
Toy Story eh... wow, that's lower than me using miniature Street Fighter figures vs. G.I. Joes.

That makes me wish I kept track of my matches and titles.

...This is encouraging me to use them right back. Be right back.

OK - I just did. I made Noble take a bump off the top of my desk and then had Hurricane come behind Holly push him off onto Noble below - and then did a splas off the desk onto Holly and Noble.

Scrooge McSuck - February 25, 2005 01:05 AM (GMT)
Main Event for the next year: Hogan vs. Kane. :D ;)

Hahahahaha. I used the miniature Street Fighter figures too! Chung Li was my Women's champ.

Scrooge McSuck - February 25, 2005 05:33 AM (GMT)
I did very questionable thing swith my Chun-Li figure. Let's say I shouldn't have had her in a battle royal with the male street fighters... ;)

Big F'N Swigg - February 25, 2005 05:06 PM (GMT)
Charlotte Bobcat: Dry humping Chun-Li dolls with Ryu dolls since 1994

Scrooge McSuck - February 25, 2005 05:13 PM (GMT)
Actually it was 1996... whoops.
