If you want to recommend someone to me that would like to buy tapes, just tell me first and there will be no problem. Here is a link to my site....
http://dynamitevideo.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/Let me know what you are looking for and where you're located and I'll let you know how much it will cost. It'll be reasonable, probably around the $12 per event rate. I'll also be willing to make deals depending on the situation.
thanks guys.....let me know. Also, if you post here and you want to order.....you can just PM me here instead of e-mailing me.....

Here's a question, Kido: On the ROH Gold, can you see about three rows back from the hard camera? A guy in a hoodie sitting next to a blonde chick? Because that would be me and my wife. We're a little left of the middle of the ring. I start the "Ring Of Hardcore" chant when Foley comes out. Just curious, you know.

I'll have to check it out. I was really dissappointed by that show......what did you think?

It was my first ROH show live, so I was stoked. This basically means that I liked everything a little bit. The last show I went to before it was RAW the weekend of the World Title Classic (which I regret missing EVERY DAMN DAY), and I think it really lowered my expectations. I left feeling completely satisfied, as the show basically reminded me of what I like about wrestling. That being said, if I hadn't been there, I probably wouldn't have thought so much of it.
------------------------------------------------------------
Punk/Homicide was good, but I didn't know much of the story and it was the first time I'd seen Homicide. It kept me interested and was enjoyable, and there were some serious "ouch" moments that made it more realistic.
I liked the Trent Acid/Matt Sydal match because it was fairly formulaic in a good way. I liked the cockiness of Acid, and the pure babyface of Sydal. It was a good dynamic that added to the match.
Jacobs & Delirious vs. Special K was fun. Delirious is a great babyface, as was Jacobs. It was a good low-card fun match. It was nice to laugh at a match that was supposed to be funny for once.
I liked Collyer vs. Lethal, but no one else seemed to. It reminded me of watching wrestling when I was a kid. Meaning that it was a lot of mat work, and not a lot of high spots. Which is how I prefer my wrestling.
I could've cared less about the hardcore match, except for Foley's involvement. It was fun to see my wife react to the blading and use of weapons, though.
The confrontation was great, as it was an interesting way to open up discussion on the two different styles of wrestling.
The four way was ok, but mostly because of Nigel McGuinness. Matt Stryker ruined the rest of the night, as everyone decided to hate him whether or not he was in the ring.
Joe vs Rocky was a good false squash. It was my first time seeing Joe, and I realized WHY he has such a following. It was amazing that at some points I actually thought Rocky Romero would win. And then Joe killed him.
The six man tag was ok, with some interesting work done involving Steamboat's wife. Shelley played a great heel, and the rest of Gen Next was forgettable in that match. It was nice to see Jacobs again, as his familiarity with Shelley and overness with the crowd added to the match.

Wow, you have a great collection. Just out of curiousity, for a um...friend. Do you do any capturing and torrenting with any of these videos? You have a few IYH's that my uhhhh, friend would be interested in seeing. But I'm cheap, and don't wanna pay 12 bucks.
For my friend.

I'll be hooking you up some business in the next couple of months, I already had some stuff on the agenda to get right now, but I'll get around to it soon.
I move that when "the site" is up and running, Dynamite Video would serve as the official DWB online store. I think it would be cool to have a video store in connection with our site. What do you think?

Great idea......but I really don't want that much advertising. I appreciate the gesture and all, but the WWE are like flies on shit right now going after tape bootleggers. I would be glad to do some member only stuff in the future (Comps exclusively available to our members here for discussion or something of that nature), but otherwise......I really just don't want the publicity.
Glad to hear you be checking out some of my stuff too WMD.....what ya looking at?

Other than some Classic WCW/NWA, you gonna be my Puro hook up.

Cool. Like I said, it'll be a little while before I start Zeroing in. I have two tapes on the way to me now that I am anxiously anticipating. One of them is a Birth of Muta comp that I am going to consider my segue into Puro. Just so you know, and when the time comes I'll ask for specific advice, but things that I am interested in checking out right now are any Kobashi, Misawa, Tiger Mask, or Hansen in Japan.
dynamite kido - March 14, 2005 06:30 PM (GMT)
Well, the Muta comp is decent.....as I have it. Not a bad way to get into puro, especially if you've seen Muta's US stuff. The way I got into Puro though was through the New Japan Juniors of the 90's. Guys like Wild Pegasus (benoit), Black Tiger (Eddy Guerrero), Shinjiro Ohtani, Liger, El Samurai, etc. If you want Tiger Mask I(Satoryu Sayama) then look no further than his series of matches with the Dynamite Kid. Plus that feud is a good intro into NJ jr stuff as they laid the blueprints that Jushin Liger later revolutionized. As far as the others (kobashi, Misawa, Hansen or any of the All Japan crew) you should really start with either the Choshu Army stuff (which to be honest, I haven't seen too much of. But that's what is always recommended for nOObs), the Jumbo series against Misawa (1990) is always good too. Also, you must see some Toshiaki Kawada if possible and his match with Misawa (6/3/94) IMO is the greatest match to ever grace a squared circle....so that is a MUST SEE. But not at first though.....don't ruin it, you must get into AJPW first and save that goodness for when you've seen a decent amount of their stuff building to it. Trust me when I tell you it's worth the wait.
