because this is how you fucking create compelling storylines. It's really sad when a reality show with little actual writing has better wrestling style storylines than the no.1 wrestling company in the world.

I wonder if this show marks the beginning of shoot fighting overtaking wrestling like it has in Japan.

Sorry but... (laughs in your face) Shoot fighting is only popular in the States to the lowest type of people in life, meaning thugs, morons, alcoholics, and racists who want to see a white guy beat up a black guy.

Thats a step below WWE, which also has fans that like looking at Randy Ortons crotch.

I think you'd be surprised. It's just sad that a reality show has some people looking forward to a fight on there more than the Wrestlemania main event. Though I can't blame them. Roadkill is more compelling than Wrestlemania right now.

I miss having K-1 on ESPN.

I won't argue... this is possibly the first time EVER I'm not looking foward to Wrestlemania. Hell, I even loved IX and XII at the time. I won't say shoot fighting is better, but its cool to watch a bunch of guys beat the piss out of each other... unless its Shamrock/Severn circling the octagon for 20 minutes while the crowd shits all over it.

I wasn't really looking forward to Wrestlemania X8 and I was more or less dreading XIX (due to Angle's neck and Hogan/McMahon) but usually I am excited about Wrestlemania. Right now I'm more interested in seeing what else gets added to the card.

I'll also be interested to see the outcomes of the two title matches, because while neither one looks any good, the winners are not set in stone. I could easily see JBL and Triple H retaining just as well as them losing.

How could you not look forward to WM X-8? HOGAN/ROCK BABY! Of course, the rest of the card was a real garbage dump...

Rock/Hogan didn't do much for me, and the build for the match was pathetic at best.

The real turn-off going into Wrestlemania X-8 was the way Triple H vs Chris Jericho had been handled though. I was so disappointed and angered that I came close to ending my fan relationship with WWE (something that happened many times in 2002 and a couple times in 2004).

Right now, I only look forward to watching Velocity... if good wrestlers are on it. Last week I missed Raw, Smackdown, and Velocity, and only watched RAW up until Kane squashed Tomko (:)) and watched for Batista to get kill HHH at the end.
