Title: Kazarian is done

Frankie Kazarian gave TNA management notice yesterday at the Impact! tapings that he was finishing with the promotion. According to one source, Kazarian's contract actually expired late last year and he was never asked to sign new paperwork, so he was working without a deal. Kazarian was a former co-holder of the X-Division championship with tag team partner Michael Shane. I don't have any word on how this affects Shane's status with TNA, if at all...

Way to go TNA... you job the bastards out to a fucking NASCAR announcer, and lose the only real heel tag team you have left that hasn't been squashed by everyone else (Naturals). I guess that means the Naturals come back from the dead.

I don't like Kazarian that much, but still, it's 1-less heel tag team for a very thin roster of them.

I was actually more upset that it wasn't Michael Shane that decided to not resign........and I dislike both of them.

Team Canada.

I don't really give a crap. Ok tag team but he was really just dead weight in the long run. Hopefully Michael Shane will be close behind.

Oh, good... I've hated Michael Shane since he first came to TNA, and don't want him anywhere near the X-Division title either. (Nice to see though that TNA stole the horrible WWE idea of co-champions)

Kazarian was used effectively for a while in the X-division, and though he's never been great, he has some potential. Not the worst loss TNA could have though.

The Last Free Voice - February 17, 2005 01:32 AM (GMT)
Huh. I was actually impressed with him at Against All Odds.

prof_plague - February 17, 2005 04:24 AM (GMT)
I never thought he was that bad of a wrestler from what I've seen.

I don't understand the Kazarian hate either, I've always enjoyed his work.

Alex Shelley is leaving TNA too.

So basically, TNA loses Kazarian and Shelley, but picks up Waltman and Billy Gunn?!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!

I think the negative effects of having Dusty book are starting to really become obvious.

They're losing some good people. And Dusty...Dusty...Dusty...:shakes head:

I don't blame Shelly for leaving at all.......he probably should have left sometime ago IMO.

Considering the only Shelly match I saw in TNA was a two minute squash against AJ Styles, I'd say he made the right decision.

The last time I saw him was a weekly PPV where he squashed Ekmo/Jamal of 3MW. LONG ass time ago.

I read Shelley's blog (he's on my link list) - he's been depressed for a long time. I'm happy he's decided to go. I know going to TNA meant he was able to give up his day job, and yeah, job security is one thing, but if you're not happy - you really have to ask yourself what your doing.

Kazarian I fully expect to see stinking up the cruiserweight division and firther burying Jimmy Yang's chances sooner, rather than later

Shelley isn't that huge of a loss for TNA. He just seems to be one of those guys that no one uses right. I think RoH is blowing it with him as well.

Do you think so?

Mad Dog - March 4, 2005 10:39 PM (GMT)
It seems RoH is kind of keeping a holding pattern for a lot of guys where no one is really moving up or down on the card right now. It seems since Aries won the belt that they've been in a creative funk.

As for not being a big loss for TNA. They never really did much with the guy so it saves them money by not paying for someone they don't use.

Yeah. That's really the best way to put it best for now.
