Description: Just as the title says

So I recently got a whole bunch of dvds that aren't WCW SN, Mostly it's Memphis 1995 with some Continental Wrestling and even rare NWA Southeastern Wrestling. Here's the first show:
1. Adrian Street vs Jason Walker
- The dvd starts off with Street singing his song while coming to the ring. As you can imagine, that went over well in Alabama. Street's pre match warmup is awesome with the spray and painting his Continental belt pink. This is pretty much a squash match with Street showing his British mat work style while doing his gimmick. Miss Linda gets involved but as Walker tries to get her, Street is right there. Street wins with a Knee to the gut. After the match, Street attacks Walker with Norvell Austin making the save. Linda trips Norvell when Lady Maxine comes through the crowd to help Norvell. Maxine is like 6'4 and HUGE. Norvell then headbutts Linda in true 80's attack the valet fashion.
Winner: Adrian Street
Norvell Austin and Lady Maxine promo: Maxine says she's back and ready to fight. We then see clips from Dothan of Street/Linda vs Candi Devine and Norvell. Street gives Devine a piledriver and a elbow drop.
Continental Championship Wrestling open is aired set to Eddie Murphy's Party all the time.
Gordon Solie intros the show from what looks like 100 feet from the ring away from everyone.
Interview with The Bullet, Brad Armstrong and Roberto Soto: Bullet talks about Robert Fuller's bounty on his mask. We see clips from Thanksgiving of The Flame trying to burn The Bullet's mask off. Mr. Olympia makes the save.
2. William Tubbs vs Adrian Street
- Yes another Street match. Street enters the ring by walking on Miss Linda. That poor woman. The match is more competitive than the other Street match but Tubbs looks like he's been wrestling for maybe a month. Street wins the match with a distraction from Linda and a cradle.
Adrian Street promo: He says what he did to Candi Devine is what should happen to all American women. We then see a Lady Maxine interview where she's angry that Adrian hurt one of her girls(Devine). She's coming to Alabama for revenge.
Norvell Austin promo: He shows a video of Adrian Street tip toeing in memphis rings set to Tiny Tim. Wow is all I can say. Adrian Street comes out and is pissed. Norvell and him get in a fight.
3. Robert Fuller and Boomer Lynch vs Brad Armstrong and Roberto soto
- Lynch is a huge South African guy that looks like a bigger Johnathan Boyd. Fuller has a awesome Mustache and Armstrong starts off and is in control early. This is a ok southern style tag match with The Flame coming out and headbutting Brad with a loaded mask and the Bullet making the save. The heels gang up on Bullet and tries to unmask him. Roberto Soto saves the Bullet.
The Nightmares interview: Before the talk, we see a Interview with the Rich's(Johnny and Tommy) Tommy is drunk as hell just ranting about the Flame and a chicken outfit. The Texas Deathmatch in Pensacola is right down the Nightmares alley.
4. Mr. Olympia vs Ken Glover
- Closing moments of the match are shown. Olympia win with a forearm smash.
Mr. Olympia promo: Olympia says he's in shape to take on Fuller and the Flame with the Bullet.
Robert Fuller promo: He gets to pick the person that he can defend the TV belt against. He picks the Exterminator for a match next week.
Ken Timbs interview: Insert Roy Lee Welch promo on the match vs Timbs no DQ for the junior heavyweight championship.
Gordon Solie commercial for Jim Walter Homes. That Solie, what a shill.
5. The Flame vs The Bullet for the Continental Heavyweight title
- The Bullet is injured so Roberto Soto wants to take his place. Solie says go ahead and Flame says it isn't Solie's call. Turns into Soto vs Flame which doesn't last long and ends when the Flame tries to load his mask but the Bullet comes out and hits Flame with a trash bin. Soto wins the match.

Holy cats... a Johnathan Boyd reference!! Viva the New Zealand Militia!
-I think Lady Maxine was the former "Mad Maxine" from the WWF, right around the time of WrestleMania (I). She was supposed to be the #1 rival for Wendi Richter, but didn't stick around long enough.
-Didn't know that Brad Armstrong also used the "Bullet" mask, name and gimmick. Or was that ol' Bob?
-Always thought Fuller was a somewhat underrated heel. I used to think of him as "the Memphis Flair".
-Was this "Nightmare" Danny Davis? Not the WWF ref, but different guy with the same name. He was sort of like a smaller Sting (who used to be billed as "Every man's nightmare") and usually wore a star over one eye, ala Paul Stanley.
-Eddie Murphy's "Party all the time"!

Yeah it's Nightmare Danny Davis, owner of OVW with Jim Cornette and now JBL. He's pretty underrated, especially as a promo guy.
I've been watching TONS of USWA 1995 this week so expect that to be next for the reviews. Featuring the great USWA vs SMW feud with PG13, Tommy Rich, Doug Gilbert, Tracy Smothers, Heel RNR Express, Mark Curits as a ref and manager, Buddy Landell, Pat Tanaka and more.

Continental Sept 1986
Intro with Gordon Solie running down the card
Interview with the Studd Stable(Robert Fuller, Jimmy Golden and Dr. Ben Casey aka Tom Pritchard). Talks about Pritchard’s loss in a loser leaves town match. Ben Casey wants on with the Intern(Johnny Rich) in a match where they unmask and fight where the loser leaves FOREVER.
1. Frank Lancaster vs. “The Mystic” Kevin Sullivan
- Typical Sullivan Squash match with a win with some kind of submission. Sullivan attacks jobbers after the match. After the match, Jimmy Golden who’s on commentary talks about Adrian Street who shows up at the desk. Street just turned baby face by helping the Bullet and Golden isn’t too happy about it.
Rundown of a House Show(Bullet/Steve Armstrong vs. Fuller/Golden, Casey vs. Intern, Brad Armstrong vs. Jerry Stubbs)
2. Despina vs. Debbie Combs
- For the NWA Women’s championship that Combs just won. Despina is a Greek lady from Tampa so Solie goes crazy over her. Back and forth match with Despina getting a lot of offense. She’s ok but really doesn’t sell worth a damn. Combs wins with the Victory Roll in a OK match. After the match, Solie shows a interview he had with Debbie before the match in the locker room. She doesn’t care about the fans and only cares about the Belt. Solie then brings up her mother, Cora Combs and also brings up Miss Linda.
Tim Horner interview about getting his title back from Roy Lee Welch thanks to Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony. Welch comes out and says he won’t fight Horner. Horner catches Welch and attacks him. Turns into a brawl with Welch hitting Horner with a foreign object. He then tries to escape but DWB catches him. Welch takes a few more licks but finally escapes.
Roy Lee Welch and Kevin Sullivan interview: They talk about the Bullet and being the Kings of wrestling
3.Leroy Martin and Mike Headley vs. The Bullet and Steve Armstrong
- The funny thing about these squash matches is the way Gordon Solie builds up the jobbers. He says “The Bullet know the reputation of both Headley and Martin”. Match ends with a Flying Lariat by Steve in about 2 minutes.
Freddie miller interviews The Intern, the Bullet and Steve Armstrong about a house show in Pensacola. They talk about their matches(Vs The Doctor and tag title match vs. Fuller/Golden)
4. Jerry Stubbs vs. Brad Armstrong
- JIP. Mostly a match on the match with headlocks, head scissors and some great mat wrestling by both men. Match ends when the ref is knocked down and Stubbs brings in a chair. Armstrong gets the chair and attacks Stubbs but the ref sees it. Armstrong continues to attack Stubbs and the locker room empties to stop Armstrong from attacking.
Jerry Stubbs interview: Armstrong is interviewed and while quoting popular 80’s songs, he says to bring it anytime anywhere. Stubbs is also ready for a match.
The Intern interview: talks about his match vs. Dr. Ben Casey. After this Gordon closes the show.
