Title: May 2009 Site Feedback
Erick Von Erich - May 7, 2009 04:44 AM (GMT)
Greetings. Thank you for reading this thread. That's what you should do around here. Maybe even post your own NEW thread if you're feeling saucy!
People came to Da' Site in April 2009 looking for this stuff:
1. da wrestling site
2. dawrestlingsite
3. angel williams spank
4. "history of the intercontinental championship" legacy
5. uk rampage 91
6. daphne tna
7. "awesome jericho promo"
8. "wwe.com legacy" review
9. fastest match in wrestlemania history
10. raw 1993; rich myers and the executioner
We're popular in these states, as they provided the most visits.
1. New Hampshire ("Bow, NH" to be exact. Rowe likes to re-read his stuff. often)
2. New York
3. California
4. Texas
5. Louisiana
6. Connecticut
7. Pennsylvania (spread all over the state, so I know it's not just DK)
8. new jersey
9. Illinois
10. Colorado
Oh, and the cheesy logo rip-offs will continue for the immediate future. Since they proved to be SO popular.

Then either your home or school ISP is routed through Bow. Ha!
I think all of my views are routed through "Englewood", which is neither where I live nor work.

Yeah, Bow is the town over from Concord (where I live). I protest that I go back to reread my stuff though, as if I wanted to do that I could look at the saved word documents. Can't it be due to me trying to click on links and the like or look at other reviews? :D
But yeah, I do click on my reviews. Side note, last I checked, my Backlash 2009 link on the WWE Pay-per-views page brought me to the Backlash 2008 review.

I have a few old TNA Impact reviews that Scorrge and I did back in the summer of 2005 when the promotion was "dark". I'll be adding those to the Impact archive, but will NOT be listing them on the homepage or the XML feed. I'll be listing their original publication dates, as well.
Reasoning is, I'm still getting a lot of referrals to my old site for those topics and they're not helping what I'm trying to do over there. I know, I know... I HATE recycling reviews, but this will help a little bit. A site that DOESN'T cover wrestling is getting referrals that should go to a site that DOES cover wrestling.
Besides, I don't think these Impact reviews were ever posted on Da' Board, so these will be somewhat "new".

Nice. I've been extremely busy as of late, which is why you haven't been getting anything new from me. I'm hoping to get Judgment Day done this weekend, and looking forward to my summer work vacation to get back on track.

Both board traffic and site traffic have taken a gigantic nose-dive since April. Both are pretty much a lost cause at this point and I'm NOT optimistic about renewing Da' Site for another year. We're right below our click-through pay-out goal (less than 5 bucks away).
But honestly, I don't see why we should keep Da' Site running. Aside from myself and Rowe, nobody's reading it and it's becoming a waste of time and effort for all involved. Pretty much every time I drop by Da' Board, I'm the only member active...and I'm on a LOT during the daytime hours.
I want you to convince me that I'm wrong! Please!

Well, my attitude for the last year or so has been that even though the forums are completely dead, at least the main site has decent traffic. If that's gone now too, then I guess it could be the end. I feel a bit guilty knowing that the numbers went down so much since April, since it coincides with a big drought of reviewing from myself, as my goal always was to at least keep the front page looking active.
I'd feel bad to see the main site go, but I understand if it does.

Well crap.... the site was automatically renewed on May 28, not June 1 as I suspected. Cancellation of the plan is going to be a bitch, so we'll be around for another 6 months and I'm another 30 bucks in the hole.
I'll really need you to guys to come through with the clicks, or else go out and promote the HELL out of Da' Site. Make sure your signature on other message boards links to Da' Site, make a Facebook page for us, contact other sites about link swapping, etc.

I don't know, man. This place has been dead as hell lately. I'll be going down with the ship if this place does go under, but I'm hoping it doesn't happen like that.

I'm not going to lie, I think my next review is going to end up being Extreme Rules, as I can't see myself having the free time to do anything else for the next two weeks. I'm picking up some extra work to get ready for being underemployed all summer (damn school year ending).
But yeah, I'll have so much free time this summer, I should get back on track with reviewing. If we can get the main site back to where it was before April by the end of the three month extension, any chance you'd reconsider keeping da site alive?

Look up! Three posts!
Da' Site was automatically renewed until November 28, 2009. Where did you get the three month extension concept?
