Matt and Jeff Hardy expected their match to “steal the show” at WM25, as long as they were given enough time to do so. Their match, incidentally, was 13 minutes. (PW)

It was Batista’s idea to return early, telling administration that he was “way ahead of schedule.” Despite looking bigger upon his return, however, he was “noticeably limping” around backstage. Many feel that a return too early is a bad idea considering his age. (PW)

Ric Flair apparently turned down a quarter-million dollar deal to return as the GM of SmackDown. Dusty Rhodes was also offered the spot, but turned it down because the amount of travel is hard for a man of “his age and size.” Theodore Long, ultimately, will be returning as the SD GM. Because the WWE is paying less money to indy wrestlers who appear as security and extras, many established indy wrestlers turned down the opportunity to work WM, leading some lesser known talent the chance. (PW)

One reason Owen Hart hasn’t been inducted into the Hall of Fame yet is because of the ill feelings and words his widow, Martha, has toward the WWE. Administration fears she’ll say something publicly “that would ‘be detrimental to a feel good Hall of Fame promotion’.” (PW)

TNA won the M16 Award for Thinking Outside the Box – Marketing for their “Suicide is Born” campaign, which crossed the character of Suicide over from the videogame to television. They also won an award for incorporation videogame footage into the entrance videos of its wrestlers. (PW)

According to Danny Bonaduce, his match with Eric Young will be on the pre-show. He also mentioned that he’s not being paid for the match, but is basically using this opportunity to “up the profile of his radio show”. (PW)

Victoria would like you to know that, despite talking with TNA President Dixie Carter at a recent UFC event, she is not going to TNA, but will be focussing on her MMA career. (PW)

Debra Marshall, who is back to being Debra McMichael, is looking to join the TNA roster. (PW)
