Title: TOOL is now "Adult Contemporary"?!

Check this out:
Mile High Music Festival

TOOL is slated to be part of the "Mile High Music Festival", a summer outdoor concert featuring a buncha' acts of "adult contemporary" music. For instance, the fucking Fray is one of the big names.

I listen to this station in the morning because the DJ's funny and it's kinda' mellow. But when they announced the show and rattled off the band names, I thought they were saying "someting that sounds like TOOL". But it's actually TOOL. Weird, because the station never plays their songs-- they're primarily Dave Matthews, John Meyer, The Fray, Jack Johnson and other stuff like that.

But hell...Buddy Guy and TOOL? That's intriguing. Last year this thing took place under 104 degree heat. The Main Chickie went and she said it was kind of a pain, with bad parking, long lines and expensive beer. That sucks.. but I might be in for this year. At least for a few hours on the night TOOL's playing.

Haha, that's great. They are going to be so out of their element, I'll be interested to hear how the adult contemporary crowd at the festival reacts.
