Title: If you had access to the WWE tape library......

What would be the first thing you'd go for?

Personally, I would go for all the NWA 80's stuff they have archived. I would LOVE to go back and check out the Worldwide and Saturday Night archives that they would have.

... damn... damn. Probably look at some old NWA shows from the 80's, and some early 90's stuff that I haven't seen in years. Really hard to pinpoint anything specifcally, the library must be... damn.

There's no doubt that most smarks would shit their pants on entering where ever it is that they keep all this footage, then fall over into a heart attack.

Every tape that has NWA and 1989 on it.

If I ever had access to the WWE Library, I would never leave. I'd just have someone bring me the msot important things...

1. Food
2. Food
3. Nail clipping
4. Boobie Rag
5. Indoor Plumming

Boobie rag? Ok, now I'm lost.....

From Cawthon's site:

QUOTE
WWF @ Barcelona, Spain - Palau Sant Jordi - October 5, 1991 (19,000)
Televised on Tele5
Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty defeated Paul Roma & Hercules at 10:54 when Michaels pinned Roma with a roll up after Hercules accidentally hit his own partner with the steel chain
The Mountie (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated the Big Bossman via count-out at 9:17 when the Bossman chased Hart up the aisle after hitting the sidewalk slam on the Mountie; after the bout, Bossman assaulted the Mountie with the nightstick
Roddy Piper pinned the Barbarian with a sunset flip at 6:31 (World Tour 1992)
Davey Boy Smith (w/ Andre the Giant) pinned Earthquake with a powerslam at 8:15 after Andre hit Earthquake with one of his crutches (World Tour 1992)
WWF Tag Team Champions the Legion of Doom defeated the Nasty Boys
Ric Flair pinned Kerry Von Erich with his feet on the ropes (WWF Wrestling World Tour 1992)
Tito Santana pinned the Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) at 13:53 after escaping from the bodybag, hitting three piledrivers, stealing the urn from Bearer, and hitting Taker with it; after the bout, Santana was interviewed at ringside

I'd dig dig and dig some more to find that main event. Arriba!

Scrooge McSuck - February 12, 2005 11:26 PM (GMT)
Sounds really... weird. First, he was in a BODYBAG... then overkilled with 3 piledrivers (probably no sold), beat up Bearer, stole the urn, AND tosses the ashes in Takers face... God damn, it's a new Dusty-Finish.

Since those results are from Observer records and people sending in their own personal reports......I'd call bullshit on that one.

I would make it my life goal to watch every single moment of every single tape if I were ever to have such good fortune. I would probably use my newfound experiences with watching wrestling to start my own wrestling radio show or website or something, since I'd basically be more knowledgable than 98% of everyone else when it comes to WWE, NWA, ECW, and WCW.

That and I would die happy and quit my jobs :)
