I just saw on Raw literally a minute ago that Koko B. Ware is going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Koko B. Ware was a good wrestler and all, but I can't say he was all that influential or insanely over enough into be in the HoF.
Create a list of guys of who you think would be better inductions than Koko B. Ware:
Owen Hart
British Bulldog
Yokozuna
The Vachons
Bob Backlund
Ultimate Warrior
The Spoiler
Mr. Wrestling II
Lou Thesz
Gene Kiniski
The Crusher
Dick The Bruiser
The Andersons
The Freebirds
Cyndi Lauper
I suppose I can subtract Ultimate Warrior, Bob Backlund, Mr. T and Bruno Sammartino because they don't want to be inducted.
I hope Tully Blanchard gets inducted.
The fact that Owen Hart has not been inducted is a very sore spot with me, actually. Even Bret has been inducted now. I think if Bret of all people can put aside his ill feelings toward Vince and vice versa, even it it was only for a couple of hours on that one day, the Hart family (specifically Owen's widow) and Vince should be able to put their differences aside and induct Owen.
I really have no respect for the WWE Hall of Fame. There are a ton of people who deserve to be in there, no doubt, but the number of influential wrestlers who are being left out (or choose to be excluded) because of personal gripes and grudges is ridiculous. IMO there should be a credited pro-wrestling Hall of Fame that is not endorsed by any one wrestling promotion that properly pays homage to the men and women who deserve the honour.

Well, there sorta' is.... except they're not too popular among anyone under the age of 30:

I would say that the only HOF that has any credibilty would be the Observer HOF. I mean, at least they actually have some sort of criteria to get in.
I like Koko myself and actually think he was an underrated worker, but seriously the guy was only a step up from Jim Powers and The Brooklyn Brawler.
