Rumour has it that at a house show on Jan 17 in Wisconsin, Randy Orton got into it with a fan at ringside, having to be pulled away by security. Apparently, the fan said something to Orton and Orton confronted him, using foul language, and shoving the guard rail into the fan. The WWE has cancelled a Smackdown event in Tijuana scheduled for February 18 due to lack of ticket sales. There are still shows scheduled in Leon and Guadalajara on February 19 and 20 respectively. (WV)

Apparently, according to close friends of Scott Steiner, the seriousness of his injuries are being exaggerated, and they claim he does not take painkillers or drink alcohol. (PW)

Kevin Nash has been released from hospital as of January 20 after suffering a serious staph infection. Nash thinks he got the staph infection from a gym he was working out at, but really doesn’t know. He is expected to appear on Impact tapings this week. (PW)

TNA will be holding a Fanfest in Philadelphia for Lockdown in April. (PW)

“The Gladiator” Brutus Magnus debuted in Manchester on January 21, beating Consequences Creed. Expect to see him debut on television in the next round of Impact tapings. (PW)

Jeff Jarrett and Booker T got into an argument after Jarrett tried to micromanage an angle that Booker T was working. Booker T, who has a reputation of being a diva sometimes, is said to like Jarrett and TNA but doesn’t like Jarrett as head of creative. The two kissed and made up. (PW)

The feeling is that Mick Foley will be working two or three matches a year in TNA, with a possible match against Angle in the near future. (WV)

TNA Management rented out a cinema in Manchester to view “The Wrestler.” An employee at the cinema reports that everyone was well behaved and polite except for the obligatory popcorn fight, and left posters and tickets for the TNA event in Manchester for the cinema staff. (WV)

Sports Illustrated has included Mick Foley’s letter this issue. In it, Foley takes SI “to task for painting him as a broke wrestler who [is] barely getting by.” (WV)
