Number One Contender- Alex Shelley
#2- Samoa Joe
#3- CM Punk
#4- Bryan Danielson
#5- Homicide

ROH PURE CHAMPION - John Walters

Number One Contender- Nigel McGuiness

#5- Jimmy Rave

ROH TAG CHAMPIONS- The Havana Pitbulls

Number One Contenders- The Second City Saints
#2- The Briscoes
#3- Maff and Whitmer
#4- Rod Strong and Jack Evans (of Generation NeXt)
#5- Low Ki and Homicide (Of the Rottwielers)

There you have it. A brief recap of what's going on will be coming shortly. LFV

ROH WRESTLING STRONG STYLE TV MATCHES ANNOUNCED!

This Friday we kick off a new month with Strong Style TV, from the ROH Arena. The main event will be a four way tag match with The Briscoes, Second City Saints, Gen Next, and Whitmer and Maff. Winners will get a title shot at our next big show, Where Eagles Dare! But we still don't know Jack Evan's feelings on Alex Shelley being kicked out of Gen Next, so will they be able to work together? Tune in to find out!

Speaking of "The Next", he has said he wants a title shot at Austin Aries, and being the Number One contender, he may just get it. But he has to prove that he can handle it, starting this week on SSTV. He'll be facing former ROH champ Xavier, who is making his return from Injury, representing the Embassy. (We think, anyway. Nana's a real character. Won't talk to us.)

Also, Sacrifice Theory, a tag team from Ohio will be making their debuts. Frankly we don't know much about these kids either, but their tape was incredible, and CM Punk himself Reccomended them. They will be facing Jimmy Jacobs and Delirious. Should be something to look foreward to.

And that's all for now, but stay tuned to ROHWRESTLING.COM for updates!

Indeed I do. I'm also psudo stealing your style, due to lack of time to write out matches all the way like I usually do.

ROH would like to wish Bryan Danielson best of luck in NWATNA. We appreciate all of his hard work with our company, and hope to have him back in the future. His place in the top five will be up for grabs in coming weeks.

Ring of Honor Strong Style TV for 3.4.05
Hosted by Lovey and Metzler.

After a nice intro video we go straight to:

Krys Nyteshade and Jaycen Martin (Sacrifice Theory) vs. Jacobs and Delirious.

A nice little match to get the fans aquatinted with Sacrifice Theory, who look like Misfits. Quite literally. Devil Locks, the paint, the whole thing. Think Vampiro in WCW but younger and talented. Jacobs and Lizard Man get some offence in here or there, but it’s the Goth Kids show, and they put on a good one. Spoterific. Finish is Nyteshade hitting a Doomsday reverse Rana, which Lovey dubs the Last Caress. Fun match.

We then go to the back, where CM Punk and Colt Cabana cut a promo on everyone in the Main Event tonight. They want their titles back. Punk is intense, and Cabana is funny. Good promo.

We get a commercial Break and then go to:

Alex Shelley vs Xavier.

From a Match standpoint, great match. From a crowd heat standpoint, notsomuch. That killed it. Shelley picks up the win with the Border City Stretch. Postmatch Aries runs down and messes Shelley up good. I think I see a feud forming.

We then follow Aries back to the back, where Apparently Strong and Evans are arguing. Evans just shoots Aries a harsh glare, then walks out of the locker room. TENSION~!

A commercial is here, then a video showing all of Joe’s greatest moments as champion. How nice.

Second City Saints III vs The Briscoe Brothers vs Generation Next 1 vs BJ Whitmer and Danny Maff.

And the main event for #1 Contendership to the Tag titles. Doesn’t quite deliver, sadly. Punk didn’t want to job, but he did, because the Briscoes picked up the win. Order of elimination went Maff and Whitmer, Gen Next, and then the Saints. Evans and Strong worked well together, although Jack wasn’t happy when Strong got pinned after a Devil Lock DDT. Maff and Whitmer lost to a J-Driller on Maff. The Briscoes hit a SPIKE J-Driller on Cabana for the win. Decent in ring work, but the fans really didn’t care.

And that’s all she wrote. For this week, at least.

www.rohwrestling.com update for 3/6!

After last weeks events Alex Shelley is not happy at all. This week he has a Mystery Opponent, hand picked by Austin Aries. However, if he wins, Shelley will recieve his World Title Shot at Where Eagles Dare!

Sacrifice Theory had an impressive debut, and will be in action again this week.

With their win on SSTV, the Briscoes have earned thier tag title shot at the Rottwielers. The match will be at Where Eagles Dare.

It's cool to see a ROH diary hit this folder, good set-up too (I like the part about "somehow having a tv show").

Keep 'em coming.

Working on second show now. And I was serious. I have no clue who put the TV show in. Maybe I did and forgot about it. Dunno. We got dropped to Graveyard though. We're only on local channel. So our ratings couldn't compete with IWA: Total Impact.

Scrooge McSuck - February 15, 2005 11:53 PM (GMT)
Worse than IWA Total Impact?! Only three people watch that show in real life. Dutch Mantell, Dutch Mantells momma, and me occasionally.

The Last Free Voice - February 16, 2005 12:50 AM (GMT)
They're on a better network. My max rating on Local isn't good enough to hold a candle to IWA, even if it's a total shitfest.

ROH Strong Style TV for 3/11
Hosted by Lovey and Metz… no CM Punk!

After the opening video we head to:

Sacrifice Theory vs Backseat Boyz.

Another good-great match from the Goth Kids, who work well with the all style and no substance Backseat Boyz. Pretty much all spots, and Sacrifice Theory controlled most of it. The end was a breakdown, with the Backseats hitting Martin with the Dream Sequence, but Nyteshade hitting a SHOOTING STAR SENTON to break up the pin, then hitting his reverse double chickenwing into a storm Cradle Driver Move he calls the Nytemare Driver. Nasty move. Crowd liked this one. Post match Sacrifice Theory did the PROPHECHY SYMBOL~! In the middle of the ring… odd.

We got to commercial and we come back to see the Havana Pitbulls beating the Briscoe Brothers down, in the back. Jay’s tapped a vein and Mark takes a killer header into a locker, Mysterio style. Nice. I guess that’s the hot tag feud du-jour.

We then go straight to Shelley’s mystery opponent’s intro, and it’s SPANKY! Big pop.

Alex Shelley vs Spanky.

Crowd split fifty-fifty. Match starts off with some nice mat work, with Shelley controlling but Spanky hanging tough. Match hits its stride as Shelley works on Spanky’s neck, and after reversing the Sliced Bread #2 he hits the Shell-Shock for the win.

Shelley goes backstage and commandeers a camera and cuts a nice little Promo on Austin Aries.

Commercial

John Walters vs Nigel McGuinness. For the ROH Pure Title.

Decent match with no real crowd heat. Walters gets the win with the Hurricane DDT after Nigel had his foot on the ropes, but was out of breaks because Nana cheated and put his foot on the ropes once before to rob him of his last one.

And that is that for this weeks ROH TV.

Very cool stuff. Sucks that Danielson got signed by TNA though, you should try and get him back. Otherwise, nice reads.

Written Contract. I forgot I took him off japan for my WWE game that never got going. D'oh.
