Title: WWE 24/7: Season's Beatings (December 2008)

Back to the ol' standby of Christmas-related crap. So expect shitty matches with Santa Claus run-ins!

Watched a pretty good MSG show from 11/25/89, last night. The "main event" was Hacksaw vs. Macho Man, but overall it was a solid card. They ran a live Brother Love show, which featured Sister Queen (Sherri) getting nailed right in the face with a milkshake and Brother Love getting a woody and trying to put the moves on Elizabeth. "I can teach you all about Loovvvvve" is a great pick-up line.

PTW from 12/21/87 is pretty good. Includes the video for "If You Only Knew". It starts out as a lighthearted "I'm gonna' rip your head off" song, but the lyricist apparently took a sharp left and drove it right into Embarass-o-ville. They try really hard to come up with rhyming words.

But there's one segment in the song that made me feel underaged. Macho Man sings something like "I've got a warning for you...". Then Elizabeth, completes the line, sounding incredibly sultry while singing: "..and it might involve your body". Mrrow! That's a soundbyte I need to incorporate into my daily routine. Just Liz cooing: "and it might involve your body".

Forgot to watch Prime Time. They're always fun shows so I normally don't. Clash of the Champions should be good. I'kk have to get to that soon.

The Clash show is just kinda' so-so. I'm pretty sure that they aired it, last year, as well. Even the "Shorties" are repeats!

PTW had a fun gag at the end. They were in Caesar's in Atlantic City, after the Slammy Awards. Brain gives Gorilla an XMas gift, but insist he open it "at home, with your family! Not here on TV". So of course Gorilla opens it, and it's filled with napkins, matchbooks, sugar packets and other freebie crap from Caesar's.

Other big highlight of the show was Hulk Hogan telling DiBiase: "......hellllll noooooooo!!"

I saved "This Tuesday in Texas" for 24 hours before it disappears. Just so I can record it, tonight. I still have the original broadcast on VHS, yet I can't bring myself to throw my old tapes away.

Oh, and I'll be recapping World Class, sometime this week.

Thankfully I didn't have 24/7 last year. But the Shorties aren't all that good most of the time anyway.

So I'm starting to enjoy the Online version a lot better. Maybe because the cable version seems to be broken all the time now.

Anyways. Watching Wrestling Challenge. I don't get the Pedro Morales/Tito Santana pairing at all. It's a total waste of Santana and the matches just fall apart when Morales has to follow up Santana's high impact offense with his crappy 60s style offense.
