In an exclusive discussion with Wrestling Superstars Live Promoter Dale R. Gagne www.wrestling-radio.com is able to confirm the orginal AWA is NOT DEAD. We are also able to squash any previous reports (now deemed as false) that suggest the WWE has won the lawsuit against the AWA. Dale R Gange angered by recent reports said "It's amazing how the internet is always the definitive word without doing their research".

Gagne went on to say "The WWE claim against the AWA has 23 counts/complaints. The summary judgment, which we had no intention of winning, was for 1 count out of 23. Does that mean they won a lawsuit? We are currently appealing even the 1 decision however as part of a confidential settlement, we are disbanding www.awastars.com website. It is now known as www.wrestlingsuperstarslive.com, representing the rich history and legend of the AWA sanctioned World titles.

It's important that websites with credibility get their information correct and not second hand. I am always willing to do an interview and confirm the truth"

TNA X Division Champion Sheik Abdul Bashir was taken to "wrestler court" at this week's TNA iMPACT tapings following a rib he played on Kip James during a flight they shared. Bashir pulled aside a flight attendant, who then announced over the loud speaker that Kip was celebrating his 65th birthday.

Bashir was taken to wrestler court because it was determined that he didn't have enough time in the company to pull a rib on a veteran. Brother Ray served as the judge while B.G. James represented Kip and Brother Devon represented Bashir, and agent Simon Diamond served as the bailiff for the proceedings. Bashir was found guilty and was required to supply the locker room beer and booze, which he did on Tuesday night after the tapings
