Damn good pick and yet another one I've been meaning to watch again.

I fucking LOVE this movie. Picked it up on a whim and because the double disc edition was in more or less pristine condition for ten dollars used, and it blew me away. The story is top notch and the acting is awesome, particularly Carrie-Anne Moss.
The ending (well, beginning... well...) took me by surprise. It didn't go where I thought it'd go, and I loved it.
After the Dark Knight I knew I was a Nolan fan. This just confirmed it.

Yea this is good shit. I really don't understand how people get confused when it comes to this movie...it's basically all spelled out for you if you pay attention. Unless you can't follow jumping around, I guess. Top notch acting from Pearce and Pants.

The first time I watched it I was confused for the first two or three jumps, but then it all clicked.
I love how the structure created so much tension and mystery about really small things. For the first part of the movie I really desperately wanted to know what he'd crossed out about Natalie on the back of his poloroid, and why.
Also this movie has some really good humor. "What am I doing? Oh, I must be chasing this guy... ::guy fires at him:: Nope, he's definately chasing me!"

Really, nothing in a week? I thought I picked a pretty damn good movie. I didn't want to go cliche with something like Mulholland Drive or another lynch film... Maybe I should have.

I've just been busy as hell...I'm gonna try and watch this Wednesday afternoon.
The Swigg Lebowski - October 14, 2008 04:21 AM (GMT)
I'm watching it tomorrow, that is if I can find the movie through the crazy ass menu

If only it were that simple.
...assuming you don't have the Special Edition, LFV? It's like a fucking puzzle, I used to have it figured out but when I dug it out a few months ago I forgot how. Needless to say, I traded it in for the single disc and some cash since I had already watched all the Special Features on the SE (which are awesome btw). It's easier for me to navigate a Japanese Fire Pro menu than that shit.
The Swigg Lebowski - October 15, 2008 12:53 PM (GMT)
I've never been able to watch the Special Features. At least not all of them.
And yes, it is the Special Edition. It used to drive my college roommate nuts to try and watch the movie.

I used to know a guide online but I'm sure it's gone...yes, a fucking guide to watch special features on a DVD. Ridiculous.

Watched this yesterday. Always enjoyable, although I must admit it's never as good as the first time, obviously. It is fun to notice the subtle nuances after already knowing the ending. And I forgot how badass Guy Pearce is in this. Some solid action, but this is definitely one of my favorite psychological thrillers ever made. Chris Nolan just struck gold with this one. It's always one of those movies that I love to show friends that haven't seen it. Usually it confuses the shit out of them, but explaining it is all part of the fun. Good shit.

I have the special Edition... Watching the movie you just click on "Watch" on the main menu... The special features are impossible, you're right. I think the trick is to just answer all the questions that have a "right" answer wrongly. I'm not sure, though.
