www.gerweck.net is reporting that former TNA wrestler El Mesias aka Ricky Banderas (real name Gilbert Cosme) was accosted by a couple of thugs in Mexico. He fought back, turned the tables and when the cops arrived, Mesias was beating up one of the guys (what I wouldn't have paid to see THAT!).

It wasn't fighting back that got him in trouble, it was putting the cop through the table that got him in trouble.

I thought it was throwing fireballs that got him in trouble.

I'm still dying to see El Mesias vs. Vampiro. I read it went to a draw -- full time limit of the match.

I've been looking everywhere trying to find out if Cosme is still in jail. Some sources say he was released, others say he's still in jail. If anyone else sees or hears any report about Cosme's whereabouts, I'd like to know.

I understand he was on the way to the airport for a wrestling event in Puerto Rico when it happened.
