I've soured on Arena Football before. It's basically pinball football, but not without its appeal. The stuff that bugs me is the way players constantly celebrate, act like dolts and cream their pants over the most routine plays. It's like a league of 16 year old high schoolers.

I stumbled onto ESPN2's coverage of last night's Colorado Crush/New York Dragons broadcast and this sealed the deal for me: FOUR teams with records of roughly 4-10 are still in PLAYOFF CONTENTION. It looked like 2 of those teams would make the playoffs. The announcers went on to say how this is so wonderful...and how a 7-9 team won the Arena Bowl, two years ago.

Damn...and I thought hockey was overblown, drawn out and Pure Shit.
