Half of the list is mark out matches, and a few are filler because of a bad year (like 1993 or 1996)
Hulk Hogan:
1984: vs. Iron Sheik (1st World Title needs recognition)
1985: vs. Randy Savage (Fall 85 MSG)
1986: vs. Paul Orndorff (Big Event)
1987: vs. Andre The Giant (WM III, mainly for the atmosphere)
1988: w/ Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Ted Dibiase & Virgil (1/88 MSG)
1989: TIE: vs. Big Bossman (SNME 5/89) and vs. Savage (WM V)
1990: vs. Ultimate Warrior (WM VI)
1991: TIE vs. Ric Flair (MSG 12/91) and vs. Sgt. Slaughter (WM VII)
1992: vs... not too good of a year here.
1993: w/ Beefcake vs. Money Inc. (WM IX)
1994: vs. Ric Flair (Havoc 94)
1995: vs. Vader (Superbrawl V)
1996: vs. The Giant (Hog Wild)
1997: vs. Sting (Starrcade 97)
1998: vs. The Warrior (HHavoc 98; comic value)
1999: Didn't watch WCW
2000: Didn't watch WCW
2002: vs. The Rock (WM X-8)
2003: 6-Man Tag v. Big Show & TWGTT (6/26 SD)

"Hulk Hogan:
1984: vs. Iron Sheik (1st World Title needs recognition)"
I think this match is underrated. A lot of people seem to think it's crap, but really, it was the perfect match for the situation. What does the MSG crowd want to see? Shiek have his ass handed to him. So that's how Hogan starts. What does the WWF need to accomplish here? Firmly, unquestionably establish Hogan as the top man. So Sheik takes control, Hogan survives all of his big moves and finisher, then comes back to decisively beat him. WWE should remember this match when the time comes for Batista vs HHH.

Nice suggestion. That's one of the better ideas that I've heard about HHH/Bautista's match. I just doubt that HHH would be willing to give a win to Bautista that is that commanding. Well....at least I don't think so.

Real F'n Show. If you like this, check out Eddie vs Benoit from 7/4/95. The match is clipped but it's awesome and I think just a shade better than 7/13/95 which is saying a lot. It's on one of those New Japan commercial tapes.
I'll do Benoit of course
Benoit
1985 -- Benoit/Leatherface vs Jason/Mike Hammer
1986 -- Benoit/Basserb vs Ron Starr/Honkeytonk Man 2/28/86
1987 -- Benoit/Owen Hart vs Zodiac/Jason the Terrable 10/23/87
1988 -- This year is extreamly tough to pick one. We had 7 super fun Benoit/Idol vs Commandoes matches that blend together for me plus Benoit vs Morrow and the Benoit vs Smith series. I'm completely torn here.
1989 -- Benoit vs Johnny Smith -- No doubt about this match but I'm cheating on this one because the match was from Dec 30 89 but aired in Jan on TV. I'll still go with it though -- Benoit vs Smith from Dec 30 1988
1990 -- Benoit vs Lyger 8/19/90
1991 -- Benoit vs Owen Hart -- The handheld match
1992 -- Very tough choice but it'd have to be Benoit vs Lyger from 8/92
1993 -- Benoit vs Brad Armstrong Clash of the Champions which is one of most rewatched matches ever
1994 -- Impossable to pick one from this year but I'll say Benoit vs Sasuke. About 10 matches I could easily put as my favourite here
1995 -- Benoit vs El Samurai 7/7/95
1996 -- Benoit vs Eddie Nitro from 12/23/96
1997 -- Benoit vs Eddie Guerrero 10/20/97
1998 -- Benoit vs Malenko 1/12/98 Nitro
1999 -- Tough, either Benoit vs Malenko from Nitro or Benoit vs Bret Hart Tribute match for Owen. I think I'll go with the tribute match
2000 -- Benoit vs Regal Pillman Memorial Show. 2nd place is Benoit vs Jericho from Summerslam
2001 -- Benoit vs Austin 5/31/01 Smackdown from Edmonton
2002 -- Benoit/Angle vs Mysterio Jr./Edge No Mercy followed by Benoit vs Mysterio from Smackdown.
2003 -- Benoit vs Lesnar Smackdown
2004 -- Benoit vs Michaels Showdown in the Desert

Why'd you pick this instead of one of the Eddie or Kanemoto matches? Curious as I too pick this one as my favourite Benoit match of 95. I have it up extreamly high on Benoit's best match ever list.
BTW, did you see the full version?

Having some trouble remembering now. Haven't seen it in a long, long time. I recall being very impressed by the effort and their ability to wrestle so long and keep going and going all the way through. I remember thinking Benoit on that night had one of the best athletic performances I had ever seen.
I want to rewatch a lot of these matches sometime. Can't seem to recall anything that happened in the Kanemoto matches. It's one of the drawbacks of watching so many matches I guess.

Benoit vs Samurai is a great athletic match and proved that two wrestlers can go all out for a long period of time. At the end of it Benoit still looks like he can go for another half hour if he wanted to. Samurai looked like he could keep on going too. I could see Benoit just wrestling Eddie, Malenko, Ohtani and Kanemoto all night long gauntlet style and enjoy every single freaking second of it. Than I could see him going to the gym afterwards to "relax".
Loved the match. I love matches where the wrestlers are physically put to the test since it's one of the reasons why I watch wrestling but I love it even more when the match flows so smoothly.
It starts out like a normal New Japan junior match. Submission holds followed by possable finishers but than it veers off when the time limit starts to get closer. Benoit and Samurai than respond accordingly trying to get the pin on each other. You would think a match would climax after a finisher section but this doesn't. Benoit and Sammy manage to go from a normal finisher segment of a match to more pinning type holds(but they still mix some dangerous stuff inbetween them) as the time limit approaches but still manage to not nosell the previous damage, keep the excitement of the match going upwards and make their direction make sense.
Than we got Benoit's execution which is so spot on here. The superplex, the reversals and the top rope belly to back suplex are just so gorgeous to watch. I can watch the match just for that.
The execution of the small package at the end of the match which is just so important in demonstrating the urgency of the situation.

I forget too such as some of the stuff in this very match we're talking about but it's not really a drawback. Not remembering stuff helps make a match new again. I was watching a lot of the 95 J-Cup the other day and not remembering certain stuff really made me enjoy the event more.
