January 30th: A grudge match has been signed for Third Anniversary Celebration Week: I at the RexPlex in Elizabeth, NJ. It will pit Steve Corino vs. Roderick Strong of Generation Next!!! Strong injured Corino's knee on 1/15 in Boston and might have cost Corino & CM Punk the Tag Titles, now Corino is coming for revenge. Strong will be on double duty on 2/19 as he is still scheduled for Scramble Cage as the tag team partner of Jack Evans. That is, if Evans still wants to team with Strong since Strong & ROH World Champion Austin Aries split from Alex Shelley. We still don't know where Evans stands in the split.

January 30th: Another team has been added to the six man tag team tournament on 3/5 in Philadelphia. It will be a team based on respect as Loc & Devito of The Carnage Crew team with BJ Whitmer. Dan Maff will not able to attend the show due to a personal obligation. The duos of Loc & Devito and Maff & Whitmer had a brutal feud that ended with all four earning each other's respect with a Fight Without Honor at "Final Battle 2004." Mick Foley played a big role in bringing the two teams together.

January 30th: Raven was at the ROH offices last week to film two home releases. Raven has signed with ROH merchandise to conduct a series of home releases that will range from Secrets Of The Ring to some new concepts that we will announce soon. The first home release Raven was Straight Shootin' With Raven & The Sandman. This is a must for any ECW fan as the two talked about their famous angles and matches, but also told some shocking and hilarious road stories. Raven also taped his first edition of Secrets Of The Ring. We will have these releases out in February. Raven was seen at the Jinxed Clothing Store in Philadelphia picking up more Jinxed Shirts, which he frequently wears in promos and during matches. January 30th: Arik Cannon has been added to the 2/19 afternoon "Do Or Die IV" show at the RexPlex. Tickets are only $5 and you'll see the best upcoming talent from all over the country compete to earn jobs in ROH.

January 30th: The 4/16 show has been moved to the Dorchester Armory on 70 Victory Road, Dorchester, MA 02122. The Cambridge Armory will be needed that day for military use, which is why the building change was needed.

WOW, I wouldn't mind picking up the Cornette/Heenan shoot. Should be good stuff all around there....

Two Roderick matches? Push in line? I hope so, I like me some Roderick.

My ROH watching is caught up to ASE II(I'll be watching that this week) and this stuff seems to be a little out of nowhere to me.

February 1st: More talent has been added to the 3/12 event in Woodbridge, CT. The building is just off I-95 and five min. from New Haven, 35 min. from Hartford, 40 min. from Stamford and 40 min. from Danbury. Also set to appear are: Colt Cabana, Homicide with Julius Smokes, Roderick Strong and Nigel McGuinness. This will mark the end of ROH's ambitious five show in four week stretch so you know we have to end things with a bang!!! February 1st: ROH World Champion Austin Aries is the first grappler signed for the 5/7 debut in Manhattan. If he is still World Champion, he will defend the belt that night. This is one of the fastest selling tickets in ROH history so act now if you want great seats. Lots more will be announced in the upcoming months.

February 1st: We have learned that John Walters really enjoyed his stay in Ghana over the last month. He was really treated with class from the time he got off his private jet until he left the country. He says he has a newfound respect for the country and the culture of West Africa. John states that his attitude has changed drastically and he looks down on the American and ROH fans for their lack of class and respect compared to the people of Ghana. He will show this new found respect for African culture from now one, including new clothes, lots of money, and more importantly, a much more aggressive side in the ring towards anyone who disrespects the West African way.

February 1st: There is a little heat in the locker room between Spanky and Jimmy Jacobs. Spanky feels that Jacobs' finishing move, The Contra Code, is a little too similar to Spanky's finish, Slice Bread #2. Spanky believes that Jacobs ripped him off and should stop using the move.

February 1st: More matches for Dayton on 2/25 and Chicago Ridge on 2/26 will be announced next week right here in the Newswire of ROHwrestling.com.

February 1st: AJ Styles told ROHwrestling.com that he won't be happy to just teach Jimmy Rave a lesson on 2/25 in Dayton on "Third Anniversary Celebration Week: II," but he wants to put out Prince Nana by hitting him with the Styles Clash. This still looks to be Styles' only ROH appearance. This will be a special night as AJ finally returns to ROH.

February 1st: To follow up on last week's story, Jim Cornette has been offering money to various tag teams. This definitely has to do with 2/26 in the Chicago area for "Third Anniversary Celebration Week: III" when Cornette and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan are in the same building again. Heenan says he has nothing to prove with Cornette and looks forward to a peaceful homecoming. Cornette has been irate ever since the happenings of 12/4 when Heenan embarrassed him.

February 1st: We are now narrowing down the suggestions that were made on the message board at ROHwrestling.com for the name of the new Joey Matthews & Matt Sydal team. Go to the message board and check out the pinned topics to participate. We are letting you pick the name of the team!!!

Is it too much to ask that ROH comes back to Pittsburgh?

February 2nd: "Third Anniversary Celebration Week: I" at the RexPlex in Elizabeth, NJ just got international as Osaka Pro stars Ebessan and Billy Ken Kid have been added to the huge day of wrestling. It is unknown now whether Ebessan and Billy Ken Kid will be on the day or night show.

February 2nd: ROH officials have given up their investigation as to who handed Mick Foley the steel chair through the curtain on 1/15. Foley used the chair to cave in the skull of Samoa Joe. There were no leads except Foley saying that "we will find out who did it soon." Perhaps the answer will come on 2/19 when Joe faces Foley's mystery wrestler.

February 2nd: More improvements have been made to the ROH Wrestling School. We have now added a gym complete with weights and cardio equipment. There will be pictures online shortly. The next tryouts are scheduled for Sunday, March 6th at 3pm in Bristol, PA. There is a nonrefundable $50 fee to tryout. You must be at least 18 years old to attend.
