I didn't see this sort of thread anywhere else in this forum so I decided to start one.

Does anyone else here have Facebook or MySpace? If so, why not add your links here and we can add each other! I'll be happy to add anyone (provided you mention that you saw my link here on dWb; I have a policy of not adding anyone I don't recognize).

I listed FB first because I'm on it much more often. I'm one of the 15 people (unofficial count) that still sue dial-up and FB is much easier to navigate for me. :)

I looked it up on Google maps. Very interesting geography-- on the east coast of Canada, amongts all those inlets, islands and channels, couple hundred miles north of Vancouver. That's pretty cool. I was expecting it to be a suburb of Vancouver or something.

Well, west coast but yeah. If I was an outdoorsperson or a fisherman or a winter sports person, it would be a great place. As it is, it's just where I live. :) We apparently have world-class fishing and we have tourists that come back every summer to fish here. We've even had clebrities such as Kevin Costner come fishing here.

Argh..I knew it was west coast. I always get west and east flip-flopped on a map when I visualize things! It's tough.

And holy crap...FISHING and COSTNER?! Damn, there's a boring-ass 4 hour movie, right there!

Y'know, I actually kinda' like The Postman. It was sappy and over-acted in some parts (like when they're on the run in the last hour), but it's not as bad as people made it out to be. I liked Tom Petty's appearance and thought that the main bad guy had some Cobra Commander in him (copier salesman, like CC was a used car salesman).

I don't like fishing at all--it seems utterly boring and pointless to me. yet, there are guys I work with who will happily vore me for hours on end telling their fishing stories. zzzzzz....

Fishing is all about getting away from everyone and relaxing for awhile. Fishing stories do suck though.

Oh so fishing for some people is like the internet for me--I get it.

I'm sure DJ Ran is a really cool guy but I would feel silly adding him. I don't add celebrities because a smuch as I may admire them, I don't actually know them and so, I would feel silly calling them my "friend". I have been accused of being too logical before, however.
